Horrible experience at this store. But I suspect the entire brand in this country is extremely horrible because of the quality of the products they are selling under the reputable brand. We purchased a musical toy and they expected us to make payment before checking for the product’s condition. After they opened the package we immediately regretted purchasing it as it looked very cheap and had lots of dents and other random scratches and damages. The batteries weren’t staying in their slots and the product didn’t work. We asked to replace immediately and tested another piece. Same issue. Even worse. We got so upset and by now they checked for nearly 5 pieces of the product. Looks the packaging of all these were previously checked by other customers as it had cellophane tape on them. These people are scammers. Nothing in these stores have anything worth purchasing. Everything made in india and just branded as Mattel. They don’t refund as well and it was extremely difficult ordeal to get our money back. Literally arguing with their useless management. Never ever stepping foot in this store. I definitely feel ordering online from other brands that sell original imported products that are of high quality and worth the money you’re spending. This is extremely damaging to this reputed brand that is centuries old....
Read moreA must visit with your kid. A paradise for kids toys and games, worth buying toys.
Spread across a large space this is the best place to take your kid and leave them around to play for hours together meanwhile you shop.
They have small play area for toddlers where you can sit with them and there are many musical and intellectual toys put in that area which keeps them intrigued. They also have another play area with a small slide and toy house. As soon as you enter the store, the kids are greeted with bubbles and different small acrobatic toys and flying aeroplane.
That is just the beginning. there are water toys, balls and small cycles, blocks playing area and rocking horses. For my child its like his magic palace where he just keeps running around and playing and enjoying to the fullest.
Hamleys is an international toy brand store brought to India. I just love shopping at hamleys as the variety in toys there is just unbeatable! Hamleys also sells some of the most famous characters that Disney has ever bought out like, Mickey mouse, Hannah Montana, Dexter and much more. Hamleys is good when it comes to quality.
They sell toys that will last you a lifetime. But just a minor draw back that toys are a little pricey as you understand that they are an...
Read moreI visited the Hamleys store today with my 2-year-old child, expecting a joyful experience, but unfortunately, I left feeling extremely disappointed. While we were exploring the store, I noticed that multiple staff members were constantly hovering around us. It felt less like they were there to assist and more like they were monitoring us — immediately putting back any item we so much as picked up to look at. This created a rather uncomfortable atmosphere, especially in what is supposed to be a child-friendly space. But what upset me most happened at the billing counter. While I was occupied, my toddler — like any curious little one — was playing nearby and accidentally fell on his face, hitting his head. He started crying loudly. Not a single staff member approached us or even showed the slightest concern. For a store that markets itself as a paradise for children, the complete lack of empathy or basic human concern was truly shocking. Hamleys is supposed to be a place of fun and wonder for kids, but today’s experience left a sour taste. I hope the management reflects on this and trains staff not just in sales, but also in kindness — especially toward the very children the brand claims...
