There were two main reasons why i wanted to try this pizzeria. One, being an ardent pizza lover and two, I got bored of the extravagant, extra-cheesy, extra-overpowering and over-the-top pizzas/pies of Domino's, La Pinoz and Pizza Hut and started loving the authentic Italian-style pizzas. Now, when it comes to Italian-style pizzas, I'm after that delicately crunchy and smoky crust with a soft and slight chewy centre bread base, sundried and pickled tomatoes and peppers, beautifully caramelized strings of onions, that ever so delicate and lovely fragrance of garlic embellishing every element and lifting the spirit of the dish, the juicy, buttery and delectably savoury note of chilly olive oil drizzled generously at the end, the perfect marinara sauce made out fresh ripe and red tomatoes perfumed with garlic and seasonings and finally authentic mozzarella cheese that isn't extremely stringy but creamy, salty, rich, buttery and a bit nutty. Those all things combined makes the perfect pizza for me now after eating far too many cheesy and extravagant pies from all those pizzerias every Indian would go for when they crave pizza. Now, coming to the review of Jamie's Pizzeria, I was certainly scared to try it because I was expecting it to fail miserably in terms of what I wanted in an actual pizza. But at the end might I say, by the end of my meal, when I walked out of the restaurant, I was a happy man. My friend and I ordered the Red Rocket Pizza and the Cheesy Garlic Bread. Now, we ordered the Garlic bread as a starter and it is almost tradition for most of us to get a garlic bread from a pizzeria apart from just the pizza. So, to start with the Garlic Bread, its form and presentation was just unexpected. It was in the form of miniature pizza slices stacked spirally one top of another sandwiching generous layers of of Garlic Butter and Stringy and Cheesy Mozzarella, and on the side was a dip made of sundried-tomatoes, garlic, a bit of peppers and a good lot of olive oil. But no matter the looks, because it was still beautiful, and the taste of it was just sensational. Every bite had a uniform taste and every morsel was just moreish and enjoyable that one cannot get enough of it. The Garlic and Herbs were front and centre but also let the taste of bread, the cheese to play along on the front row which is the exact representation of balance in flavours. What really tied the dish together along with the oily relish was the nuances of olive oil that played a note in everything and made everything spectacular. The Garlic Bread was certainly at the top with the garlic reads of other traditionally Italian Pizzerias. Coming to the Pizza and I must say I had a moment when I had to keep my knife and fork down and close my eyes after taking a bite. It's not often you find a perfect bite in everything you eat. The well-cooked greens, the sour and sweet sundried-tomatoes, the crumbled burrata cheese pieces scattered on each slice, the perfectly pickled olives and peppers and the perfectly caramelized onions all well dressed with a generous drizzle of olive oil over the top over a base of fresh, zingy, and savoury layer of marinara pizza sauce over a thin crusted yet well baked smoky, crispy and chewy pizza base that has been fermented very well, just show how well this pizzeria cares about keeping authenticity of true and traditional Italian flavours and letting each element have an important role to play in keeping the harmonious taste of the dish. Now, I don't want to compare with other traditional pizzerias such as Brik Oven, The Pizza Bakery, Roma, etc. but all in all, the taste really had it for me. And it certainly was the real take away of my experience at the restaurant. Now coming to the other things, the ambience was just fine, the service was forgettable although there was a super-high charge on the bill as service charges which would be my only complaint, the amenities and facilities were there and well maintained and all in all, what remains with you is the food. This Pizzeria shall only be known for...
Read moreLocated in the bustling Phoenix Mall, Jamie Oliver’s Pizzeria brings a slice of authentic Italian flavors to Bengaluru with a relaxed, casual vibe. Known for its fresh ingredients and signature hand-stretched pizzas, this restaurant is a great spot for anyone craving a well-made, delicious pizza in a lively setting.
The menu focuses on classic Italian pizzas, with a variety of toppings that cater to both vegetarians and meat lovers. The Margherita is a standout, with a simple yet flavorful combination of fresh tomato, mozzarella, and basil. We ordered the Margherita and the Veg out pizza (chef's kiss to the pizza) along with the Fiery Fries.
Aside from pizzas, the menu includes a few pasta dishes and sides, like Garlic Bread and Caesar Salad, which make great accompaniments. The garlic bread, in particular, is fresh and buttery, while the salad is crisp and flavorful, with a tangy dressing. The Quinoa queen salad is one for the books and was what we ordered amongst the other items. Fingerlicking good and a very healthy option amongst others.
The pizzeria has a casual, welcoming vibe that’s perfect for a laid-back meal with family or friends. The décor is modern, with a touch of rustic Italian charm, featuring wooden tables and bright, cheerful lighting. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite after shopping or sitting down for a relaxed meal, the atmosphere is lively yet comfortable.
The service at Jamie Oliver’s Pizzeria is friendly and efficient. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful suggestions based on your preferences. While the restaurant can get busy during peak hours, the service remains prompt, and the wait times for food are generally short.
While the prices are slightly higher than your typical pizzeria, they are justified by the use of high-quality ingredients and the overall experience. The freshness of the produce, the care in preparation, and the attention to detail in the flavors make it worth the price. It’s a great option for a slightly upscale yet casual dining experience.

Read moreMy recent visit to Jamie's Pizzeria left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. Despite being hungry and eager to enjoy a meal, the experience was nothing short of unbearable.
The first issue that struck me was the oppressive heat within the restaurant. Despite inquiring about the lack of cooling, the explanations provided by the staff were unsatisfactory. Blaming factors such as the open kitchen and slow mall AC felt like excuses rather than genuine attempts to address the discomfort of customers. The dismissive attitude towards the issue was disheartening, especially considering the number of patrons who chose to leave due to the unbearable conditions. You can always have a tower AC or something else. There are a lot of options today in market.
Furthermore, the staff's behavior only added to the negative experience. Their reluctance to accommodate simple requests and the apparent disdain when asked about promotional offers were unacceptable. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, which was clearly lacking in this instance.
Turning to the food, the "Veg Out" Pizza I ordered was far from appetizing. The Garlic bread, recommended by the staff, turned out to be a disappointing rendition of a Margherita pizza drowned in oily chili sauce. The lack of flavor and quality in both dishes was a major letdown.
Even the beverages failed to meet expectations. The Lemon Ginger Beer, advertised to contain ginger, lemon, and soda, tasted nothing more than ginger-flavored water. Additionally, the drink quickly lost its chill due to the stifling heat in the restaurant, requiring multiple requests for ice.
To top it off, the condiments provided were subpar, with the "mayo" resembling butter and lacking any resemblance to the requested condiment.
Overall, my experience at Jamie's Pizzeria was marred by discomfort, poor service, and disappointing food quality. Unless significant improvements are made, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an enjoyable...
