Paakashala: A Taste of Tradition with a Price Tag Paakashala offers a comfortable and pleasant ambience for enjoying a delicious vegetarian meal. My recent visit found me indulging in a selection of their dishes, and while everything tasted good, the pricing might leave some diners feeling it's a bit on the higher side.
Fresh Flavors and Classic Dishes: The soup was a comforting starter, setting the tone for the meal. The hara bara tikki, a popular North Indian snack made with vegetables and lentils, was crispy and flavorful. The kaju masala, a rich cashew-based curry, was well-balanced and satisfying. The butter roti provided the perfect accompaniment for scooping up the curries, and the dal kichadi offered a comforting and healthy side dish.
Pleasant Ambience: The restaurant itself boasts a good ambience, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. This makes Paakashala a great choice for a family dinner or a casual get-together with friends.
A Consideration on Price: While the food was undoubtedly tasty, the pricing might be a point to consider. Paakashala falls on the higher end of the vegetarian restaurant spectrum.
Overall: Paakashala provides a pleasant dining experience with good vegetarian food in a comfortable setting. However, be mindful of the pricing if you're on a budget. If you're looking for a satisfying and flavorful vegetarian meal in a nice ambience, Paakashala is...
Read moreMy review was good and was 4 star until I visited it again today with my guests. The service was so poor I wouldn't imagine as I have visited this place earlier few times and it was awesome. . But today, it was pathetic. The way food was delayed and then served;it seems like they are simply throwing it on my face. The server literally dumped the food and went off to deliver another order. She didn't even respond to the question I asked. No one was available to take the running order of roti. Pathetic service.
I suggest don't go with its rating as it was good when it was new. Today's experience was so bad, I would not recommend this place. Moreover, the person who is cleaning the table has a trolley with all used utensils and he is picking plates from table while people are eating. It's so u hygienic and unacceptable. It's a normal Dhaba type restaurant. It's my bad that I expected it to be a nice restaurant. It is like a normal South Indian type local restaurant where they focus on South Indian meals as their primary dish and it is served properly on time.
This was my review 4 month back:

The food at Paakashala is nothing short of spectacular. The Babycorn Pepper Dry is a standout, offering a tantalizing blend of spices and a delightful crunch. The Paneer Tikka is beautifully grilled, with a smoky flavor that complements the tender paneer perfectly. For a comforting and indulgent experience, the Butter Naan is incredibly soft and buttery, ideal for scooping up the rich and creamy Paneer Butter Masala and the flavorful Kaju Masala.
