Kakal Kai Ruchi today !! Ambience is kinda good with a pleasant and inviting feel to it in terms of interiors. They have a cute trampoline area for the kids too. It's a Pure Vegetarian restaurant serving South and North Indian dishes located in JP Nagar, opposite Big Bazaar, easily findable. They have 3 other branches at Kengeri, Akshay Nagar, Konanakunte.
Coming to the food...we tried : *Fresh watermelon and Mosambi Juice *Spinach Broccoli Soup *Barbecue Paneer Tikka *Zafrani Mushroom Tikka *Spring Rolls *Crispy Corn *Grilled Garlic Paneer *Stuffed Naan, Kulcha, Rotis *Kashmiri Naan *Nargis Kofta *Veg Makhanwala *Veg Biryani *Gulab Jamun *Gudbud *Vanilla Ice cream *Pistachio Icecream *Strawberry Icecream
Initiating with soups, Spinach Broccoli Soup had a spicy twist to it. The mildly spice and chunks of broccoli and zucchini in soup made it stand out of all dishes. Each and every Starter tasted superb especially Zafrani Mushroom Tikka and Grilled Garlic Paneer were absolutely lip snacking...a MUST try. Breads were upto the mark with softness in texture. Both the curries were pleasing to the palate. Veg Biryani was packed with burst of flavours. We ended the meal with desserts which were damn good.
Every item is a level apart in terms of taste, quality of ingredients and presentation. They have a huge menu of chaats to starters to mains and good fusion dishes too. The service is good and the staff are really friendly especially Mr. Khan was very Cooperative and will recommend you the best on the menu. On the whole it was an awesome food experience. A must try for all vegetarian foodies...... Planning to visit again...
Read moreIt's located just opposite to our college and a regular place where we have breakfast and lunch. I must say, in past 1 year this restaurant hasn't disappointed me even for a single time. Ambience is quite basic and appears like fusion of A2B and Adigas. It also offers a fine dine facility on the first floor and self service in the ground floor. So far I've been only to the self service wing which has quite good seating capacity. Since customer walk-in is less, you can easily get your table. Kitchen if huge and occupies 50% of the self service wing and it's hygiene.
FOOD: I've tasted almost all dishes over here and everything tastes well. Especially Poori. You can walk in to this restaurant at any point of time and order poori. It will be always ready. Even masal Dosa, open masala dosa, paper dosa tastes well. They also prepare special authentic dishes like neer dose, Malabar paratha, stuffed paratha as well. I love Curd vada they prepare here. Curd they use is entirely different. Some sweet essence with the slight elachi taste deep inside will definitely appeal your taste buds. It also has a Chat section which offers Delhi chats through out the day. Some of the chat items are too good. Like Masal Puri, Aloo Tikki etc. But sometimes samosa has disappointed me as it tasted like 2 days old. Over all, it's a great place to have breakfast items.
SERVICE is quite friendly, since I haven't tried their service wing I'm unable to comment on it.
FINAL VERDICT: Decent pricing, Great food and a nice location makes you to bookmark...
Read moreDon't expect a great ambience, but what is there is best, clean and functional. A long table by the entrance allows you to stand and eat, if you prefer, or seating is provided however, the place being extremely popular don't expect to get a seat. It's self service restaurant. You select your items from the menu, pay for them then go to food counter present your bill and collect your items. The counter for tea and coffee is in another location within the restaurant. Items are served piping hot. Spoons are kept on the counter, you take them as you need and dig into the delicious food they serve. Five star rating is given because the food is served piping hot, with minimal waiting time and the taste is exceptional. The cleaning staff are cleaning the floor, tables, collecting the empty trays, plates etc. so there is never any mess anywhere in the restaurant. If you want water you have to go get it yourself from the taps provided and stainless steel glasses kept there. The filter coffee taste is exceptional. We did not try their tea. Great selection of 'baths' like Khara bath, bisibele bath etc. Masala Dosas, idli, medhu Vada, Puri bhaji, set dosa, pakoda, onion dosa, etc are all mouth watering. Time taken to serve the items from billing is minimal served even before you start salivating from the wonderful aromas wafting up to your nose. Recommended to...
