Regrettably, my recent dining experience at Hyderabad Biriyani Hotel in Maleshawaram, Bangalore on 6th August, 2023, was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment I stepped in, I was met with an unwelcoming atmosphere and subpar service that left much to be desired. The behavior of the serving staff was unprofessional and downright discourteous, tarnishing the concept of hospitality that is expected of any establishment.
To add to the distress, a rather unsettling incident occurred with the floor manager. Having placed an order for their famed 'Biriyani dishes,' I was assured that it would be promptly served within a mere 5 minutes. However, my anticipation quickly turned into disbelief as the same manager, after a brief period, had the audacity to inform me that the very dish I was eagerly waiting for was suddenly unavailable. Naturally, I questioned the inconsistency, reminding him of his earlier commitment. Astonishingly, he proceeded to deny his own words and even attempted to manipulate the truth, denying any mention of the promised 5-minute service.
This glaring inconsistency and blatant disregard for the customer's trust left me profoundly disappointed and disillusioned. Such a lack of integrity and transparency reflects poorly on the establishment's reputation and raises concerns about the level of professionalism maintained. This episode not only exposed their inability to uphold their promises but also highlighted their lack of accountability and sincerity.
In light of my experience, I find it disheartening to label Hyderabad Biriyani Hotel in Maleshawaram, Bangalore as a 'lier' and 'shameless' restaurant. It is truly regrettable that a place that should be known for its culinary offerings and warm hospitality instead left me with a bitter taste and a lasting sense of dissatisfaction.
As a patron who values quality service and honest dealings, I believe it is essential for any dining establishment to prioritize consistency, transparency, and customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, Hyderabad Biriyani Hotel, Maleshawaram, Bangalore failed to uphold these values during my visit, resulting in an experience that I am unlikely to forget anytime soon.

Read moreThis place serves the best food I have ever had in Bangalore for over a decade. At first I wanted to visit AlBek which is on the exact opposite side. That's when I noticed Hyderabadi Biryani which is opened newly. I had to cross the busy street and climb up the stairs to reach the restaurant on the first floor (lift construction work was under progress). The ambience is good and the Menu is very reasonable. I thought it would be like any other restaurant and placed my order for Chicken Manchow soup, Chicken Majestic, Chicken pepper salt, Mutton Biryani and Soda. The Soup arrived and it was perfect, neither spicy not bland. Well, I thought the chef would be good at preparing Chinese and he actually was since the starters also tasted awesome. Here is when I had my doubt on the Indian dish Mutton Biryani as normally a cook who is good at Chinese may not always be good at Indian Cusine. The biryani arrived and the mutton was so tender, rice was perfectly cooked and the masala was just right. I have never had such tasty biryani in the last 10 years in Bangalore. (Yes I have tried, Bavarchi, Meghana, Ammis, Paradise etc..) The chef indeed is good at his job. The service and hospitality was good too. A meal for 4 costed Rs 840 only (I have attached the photo of the bill). The only drawback is that they did not have card facility for payment and accepted only cash/Paytm/Tez but I guess this is just temporary as they opened newly and is a just a matter of time before they get a swiping machine. This place is next to Mantri mall and the next time I visit Mantri Mall, I will not have food in their expensive food court. I rather walk a lil ahead for this awesome and...
Read moreIt is with a heavy heart that I choose to write this. This joint has been one of my favourites and to give a single star must have a reason. This place began to attract customers with the authentic food, of course, biryani and other proper non-veg cuisines. It had also some fine people who tended, served and made people feel welcome. Not any more. Whether the food joint Albek just opposite this was a trigger is a matter of speculation. But definitely in the recent past the ground floor was added where everything, from service to hygiene and ambience was compromised to bring in the fast moving crowd. Combos began to cater the takeaways and quality went for a toss. Till now from a commercial angle, everything can be justified, but the culture creeped into the first floor which had a really different appeal. Beginning with the indiscriminate spices in the Biryani, which was the main attraction to the undercooked starters, the management made it evident that it is frantically encashing on the brand name. Even a request for a second helping of onion was treated with distaste. With the mantri mall nearby and the floating crowd increasing the need to stand up true to the brand name became superfluous. The service of the staff made one cringe and the communication between them was even more pathetic and rude. As for the ambience, the floor is totally boxed with no airflow. The Ac is cosmetic and the customers are at a loss as to whether the perspiration is due to the unreasonable spices or the poor ventilation. All in all my last visit will be the last and I’m a little heartbroken that one more joint has lost its sheen because of sheer short...
