Next we tried was Our Humble Indian Papad & Khakras Served With Corn And Tomato Salsa With Some Avacado Mousse On The Side, Amazing way to kick Start a Meal, very much like our Masala Papad, but with a twist.
There Is Something Yummy About Watermelon And Feta, Classic Yet Refreshing, A Snack, A Meal Precursor Or A Meal By Itself, This Version Here Had Lychee Too.
The Som Tom was very refreshing, very authentic even without the fish sauce, with which it is made in streets of Thailand.
The Thai Corn cakes was delicious, especially with the accompanied chilli paste.
The Textures Of Eggplant was a very delicious dish, that had the best of both worlds, a smoked eggplant on a Indian style gravy, along with baba ganoush served with Pita. I loved the fact that instead of a fusion they have kept both the textures and flavours separate, with the connecting element being the pita, excellent.
There was something very honest about this place, serving some amazing food that not only looks beautiful but tasted absolutely delicious as well. It was not a overpowering conflict of flavours, just pure delicious fresh flavours served authentically with minimal fusion that one would enjoy.
Worth the drive from Whitefield to Indranagar.

Delivery Review Updated - 8th July 2020
Street Storyss Indra Nagar is open now for both Dine In as well as Delivery. These guys I must say opened with a bang, launching their new menu to keep things interesting for their repeat customers like me and to attract a new bunch of converts.
Katal Biriyani, with the jackfruit pieces skewered to look like a chicken drum stick, that was wonderful. Beautifully cooked fragrant basmati rice was a delight with the large chunks of jackfruit pieces. A suggestion would have been to remove, clean more of the unwanted bits before using the jackfruit in the Biriyani, nevertheless it was a delicious treat especially with that accompanied Biriyani masala, just elevated the dish to the next level. Portions were large enough for two people. A special mention goes to the Burani Raita, it was Yumm me of the best versions I have had so far, absolutely spot on, extremely flavourful and made with perfect balance.
Usually Nasi Goreng isn’t available in a vegetarian version, because it cannot be made without prawn sambal, that is fried into the rice, giving it the unique colour and flavour. It surprises me that Street Storyss has braved and achieved that the colour, texture, and flavour profile that is as close as possible to an authentic non vegetarian Nasi Goreng. The tofu definitely helps to get the texture one would miss from the meat and egg. The the tofu skewers replace the traditional satay that is served alongside, it had been cooked in a curry sauce to compliment the flavours as opposed to the traditional smothering of a peanut sauce.
The menu did list some sort of chips to be served alongside, as a replacement for the usual prawn crackers that is part of the dish. Unfortunately I didn’t receive it in the home delivery, I was so looking forward to that to complete the dish, visually as well as from a texture & tradition point of view. Nevertheless, a great dish from a great restaurant, highly recommended. Street Storyss follows the highest safety standards for dine in and delivery, it’s safe to order and enjoy their delectable new fare, while the old favourites like the rajma Kichidi has undergone a makeover, looking forward to try their other 2.0 menu soon, maybe in a...
Read moreI have recently been to a newly opened veg restaurant in my current neighborhood. As I am not a fan of veg restaurants and food but I was willing to take chances with this one and it really surprised me. So all the veg lovers in Bangalore now you have new food adda for you all and yes it’s just perfect. This veg resto is located at Indira Nagar, Bangalore. Okay, so starting with the first impression which was clearly made by the interior of that place. The interior sets your mood as you enter it makes you feel welcomed and allows one to feel comfortable in such a great ambiance. The white and teal color combination of that place with wooden chairs and planters around tables gives you a feeling of calmness. The planters around the tables make one feel fresh and light. The lighting of that space sets your mood in the perfect tone. The people who help to run this place are very welcoming, open and delightful. let's talk about the most important and one thing that you guys are waiting for, yesssss, FOOD it is, so, let's begin with our,
Drinks/Beverages: We had three drinks namely Nimbu Pani(lemonade) -Desi Nimbu pani but with a twist, it was different from our usual nimbu pani it had the taste of pomegranate with a proper balance of lemon and masala with it. it satisfies you well. Kokum Masala juice: Here's one to refresh yourself and cool your spirit. It had the perfect balance of cumin, cardamom, black pepper, sugar, and kokum. The spices balance out the sourness of kokum. It's like a desi soda for people who like to drink something while eating their meal. Orange and kafir lime: This one my favorite, you can say personal favorite, I liked the combination of sour and sweet just like our souls.
Starters/soup: Tom yum soup: It was like a basic soup with a bit different in taste. Pappad and khakra: It was a very interesting combination of our daily snack. I never thought that a combination of our daily snack can taste so good when combined together in the right proportion. It was papad served with corn and pineapple, tomatoes and onion and avocado dip. combination of all just surprised me. Fafda-fafda garnished with mint. Watermelon and lychee salad: I was looking for something healthy and I found this salad in a menu which sounded interesting to me. It was a combination of compressed watermelon and lychee garnished with greenies and feta cheese on top of it. I like the taste of it. Thai corn cake: It was a combination of corn and spices which had the perfect consistency. It was good in taste and melted in mouth very softly and easily, it was good in taste, one should try it. Pan-fried dim sum: It was the dim sum with mushroom stuffing served with a perfect red spicy dip that awakens your taste buds, it's a must-try for all mushroom lovers. Avocado mousse: Crunchy deep-fried puri top served with a mixture of chopped avocado, onion, and tomatoes. the crunchiness of it tastes perfect with other toppings.
Main Course: Textures of eggplant: It was served with pita. The taste of it was just right to hit your taste bud, the onion was finely chopped and taste good with it. one should try it. it suffices one's hunger. Rajma ghee khichdi: We all love rajma chawal, its a heaven for vegetarians, but trust me this rajma ghee khichdi just blows your mind. It's the tastiest. Rajma rice was mixed perfectly well to melt in our mouth, it was served with khakra and cheese on top. It's a must-try for every vegetarian and also non-vegetarian. Bianco and Verde pizza: so the rest is not only good with Indian cuisine but also with Italian. this pizza was filled with all amazingly grilled veggies that give you proper crunch in your mouth, the combination of all veggies over pizza just hits you right at the point. It's a must-try.
It was a perfect evening for me, I have a great time with my friends, the ambiance, surroundings, lighting and especially the service of that place...
Read more19th Feb 2025: tried 1) raw papaya and pineapple salad : 7/10 . Good taste and combo but tad too sweet with unnecessary jaggery water poured on it . 2) orange and pomegranate salad. 9/10 . My favourite today among all items . It had pomelo/chakotra, edamame beans etc all a great ensemble of taste and presentation. Very subtle mild dressing . Hero Ingredient could be felt well in taste 3) Tom yum soup : 6/10 . Too oily and spicy . But good use of other authentic ingredients 4)Thai krapaw dimsums: the filling was mix of asparagus, broccoli etc but due to over use of oil and spices masala , the ingredients taste was not felt . It just like like spicy masala momos. 5) hot pot veg noodles : very good ensemble of choice of ingredients and noodles . But again the over use of oil overpowered the flavours such good ingredients. 6/10
L6) vegan chocolate mouse : very good texture , use of tangy berry and berry reduction. However it was way too sweet . I feel they can reduce the use of qnty of sugar . 6/10 . 7)south sandia spritzer: watermelon juice with lemon and rock salt . 9/10
Update 26th August 2025 Food : 4/10 Service : 5/10 Must say was highly Disappointed today after 6 months . Ordered mix of old repeats and new picks . They neither worked on my last feedback’s given in person nor improvised the preps . Infact many items went further below in quality . Sevice went from great to worst . For a restaurant full of tables , only 1 waiter and 1 manager was there . The senior waiter was so casual , callous , unprofessional , untrained that he didn’t even know the ingredients of any of his items in menu . He couldn’t communicate with chef on our special requests on vegan choice . We ordered Tom yum soup , orange and pomogrande salad , Thai khrapow dumplings , pad Thai noodles ,blue pea rice with tofu curry and south sandita drink .
Tom yum soup : 6/10 : highly disappointed. Still very spicy and oily z veggies decreased compared to last time Orange and Pomegranate salad : 9/10 still the best and consistent with quality. Pomelo , orange , lettuce , leaves , lemon all perfect combo . Fresh and refreshing . Thai kraphow dumpling : 3/10. Gone worst then last time . Despite our request to not use oil and serve chilly oil on sides . The dumplings can pan fried in lot of oil plus Chiku oil on the side . Even my tissue paper couldn’t soak up all the oil on the dumpling . The spice masala level was so high that couldn’t make out any other ingredients or veggies inside . Absolutely a disappointment . Worst than road side momos . Pad Thai noodles :3/10. Again a major disappointed . Despite request to use less oil, one Could easily drink 100 mL refined oil using a table spoon directly from this dish bowl . The masala like spice levels with oil was so high that suppressed the flavours of noodles, mushrooms or other veggies. What a disgrace in the name of ‘pad Thai noodles ‘ . Even road side Indian Chinese noodles has less spice and oil then this preparation . 5) blue plea tofu curry :7/10 . Only dish apart from salad that was still edible . It was Infact good overall . But all the curry had was tofu , missed any oriental veggies . Infact older pics of this dish from the Resturant pics shows lot of veggies . Guess they cut the costs recently . But overall good dish yet . Base was coconut milk and Thai spices , Had garnish of green spring onion , peanuts , and some kind leafy stir fry on side . 6 south Sandita : 5/10 . It was not the same as last time . Just made like a jhatka . No balance of flavours
Overall shall avoid this...
