Visited this eatery as it had a very good rating on zomato, so let me start off by thanking zomato :) Lot like crepes is a small and colorful cafe situated in Koramangala, which opened up 2-3 months ago. We understood nothing that was on the menu, thus ended up asking the chef there to suggest something and went by his suggestion.
Ambiance: -Colorful, clean and a small place. It won't be able to handle a crowd. -Outdoor seating available. The kitches is visible from where you sit and can enjoy the view of chef preparing those delicious items:) -They play good old rock classics on a little speaker:)
Food: -Barbeque paneer with onions and capsicum, which was made spicy for us ^_^ It looked like dosa, didn't taste like that though; Delicious and my personal favorite here:) -Banana with spicy choco/toffee: Luscious and a must try! My friend wouldn't stop making yumm noises till he completed it :D -A savory egg cake: This had onion, cabbage, egg, ketchup :/ We watched the chef prepare it, which was a treat to the eyes :) it was very filling and tasty as expected :) All this in 260 bucks :) Worth every penny.
Service here deserves a special mention.. The chef here greets us with a warm smile as customers come in, asks what kind of food we like and suggests accordingly. He is one of those of those people with whom conversations are much easier and comfortable. It's a treat to see him cooking with soo much passion :) Every customer who visited this place bonded with him very well. I sincerely hope that this place gets a lot of following from foodies with a recognition that it totally deserves and wish them all the best
Conclusion: -One of those must visit eateries in Bangalore for their food and service. -Hope they improve their ambiance a little more by making more room for customers. -Will definitely go back and try...
Read moreHave never tried crepes but was open to have a go at their sweet/savour combinations. In common, all the crepes had smooth batter which was saturated in the flavours of the specific pick. . Strawberry nutella - Painted and stuffed with smooth nutella and whipped cream on the top; the strawberry slices were decorated all along on the cream; sour yet too sweet
Kiwi toffee - Interesting combination of caramelized taste with the sourness from the kiwi; pretty good but the toffee was runny on the whole
Peri peri Chicken - spicy combo with tender pieces all in; would prefer sweet crepe over spicy any day
Hot chocolate - Not so thick but was hot enough to accompany the crepes . On the whole, a decent outlet for crepes with so many combinations to try out. Off-street parking was okay with the service being courteous enough. Limited seating and can prefer...
Read moreLot Like Crêpes is an amazing place for a fancy yet cheap French meal. Mr. Bapan, the owner and head chef, is a downright amicable guy with a good deal of culinary experience. If I just had to rate the food, I wouldn't hesitate to give it five out of five; his flavours are eclectic and delicious! My downer comes from the small size of the place, as the capacity of the place does not compliment it's ever-growing enthusiastic customers. In fact I would advise you to parcel your food if you're with friends. Regardless, the aesthetics are worthwhile, the walls are quite well decorated- I had a good time pointing out which crêpe-man (you got that right) on the wall came from which part of the world. The service is fast, the neighbourhood is serene, the food is orgasmic- crepes have been given a good makeover with all the different flavours. I'm definitely...
