Mani’s Biryani is a well-known spot for biryani lovers, offering a variety of flavorful dishes that cater to different preferences. While the restaurant has earned a strong reputation, my experiences with their food, particularly the Masaledar Biryani, have been inconsistent.
Food Quality & Taste
The biryani at Mani’s can be quite flavorful and satisfying at times, with well-cooked rice, tender meat, and a balanced blend of spices. However, on multiple occasions, I have noticed that the taste is inconsistent. Sometimes, the Masaledar Biryani is perfectly spiced, aromatic, and delicious, while at other times, it feels overwhelming, with excessive masala making the dish too heavy and difficult to enjoy. The spice levels fluctuate between orders, and there are days when the biryani is too oily or the flavors feel off.
Other dishes on the menu, such as their Chicken Kabab Biryani, tend to have better consistency, but even this has its occasional off days. The accompaniments like raita and salan are decent but nothing extraordinary.
Service & Ambiance
The restaurant has a simple yet welcoming ambiance, making it a comfortable place for a casual meal. The service is generally quick, but during peak hours, there can be delays. Some staff members are polite and efficient, while others seem disinterested, adding to the inconsistency in the overall dining experience.
Pricing
The pricing is reasonable considering the portion sizes, but given the unpredictable food quality, it sometimes doesn’t feel like great value for money. A consistently good meal would justify the cost, but when the taste varies so much, it becomes hit or miss.
Final Verdict
Mani’s Biryani has the potential to be a top-tier biryani destination, but the inconsistency in flavor, especially with the Masaledar Biryani, affects the overall experience. If they can maintain the same standard of taste every time, it would be a fantastic place for biryani lovers. Until then, dining here remains a gamble—some days, it’s great, and other times, it’s disappointing.

Overall, I was impressed with the non-spicy food options available and found the pricing to be reasonable. However, I did notice that the chicken biryani was a bit salty, which affected my enjoyment of the dish.
On a positive note, I would like to commend Mr. Amit, one of your service staff members, for his kind and attentive service. His hospitality and understanding of guest needs were evident throughout my visit.
I also appreciate the recommendation to try the achari chicken, mutton biryani, and hot gulab jamun. These dishes sound enticing and will definitely be on my list for my next visit.
Lastly, I enjoyed the ambiance of your restaurant, especially the fact that it's not overly crowded, allowing for a more relaxed dining experience.

Read moreHad been here for Dine In also earlier, but had orders through Swiggy today
The hotel accepted the order wherein the biriyani was still not prepared
The delivery partner had called and said the preparation will take another 25 minutes and I requested him to cancel the order. He denied and also spoke to someone at the restaurant and he banged the phone claiming the order cannot be cancelled
When I got in touch with Swiggy customer care on chat he said amount cannot be refunded if you cancel the order
The preparation was average but the restaurant persons behaviour is something which was astonishing. Instead of these people being polite they are behaving as if they are doing some favour by providing food
I have decided not to visit or order from this place who do not know how to behave with the customers and they being in...
