Marseli in HSR Layout stands out as one of the best cafes in Bengaluru for anyone searching for an unforgettable breakfast spot or artisanal patisserie experience. This newly opened restaurant instantly impresses with its superb ambience, modern and timeless interiors, and a welcoming vibe perfect for lively group chats or peaceful solo work. On my visit during a late Sunday morning, Marseli delivered one of the finest breakfast spreads in the city. The Mushroom & Cheese Croissant is a must-try, featuring perfectly flaky, house-made layers enveloping juicy mushrooms and cheese – truly the best breakfast croissant in HSR Layout. The classic butter croissant sets a new benchmark, crafted so well it makes you forget every other croissant you’ve tried before. There are multiple croissant options, each handmade and worth exploring. Marseli is also known for its Zingy Paneer Stack, which comes with a crispy paneer patty, spicy chilli mayo, and fresh lettuce, making it a favorite among those craving a savory vegetarian breakfast in Bengaluru. The beverage menu is Instagrammable and diverse, with highlights like Vietnamese Cold Coffee and Espresso Con Panna, both expertly prepared for coffee enthusiasts. The Pistachio Latte stands out with its aromatic, nutty flavor, ranking as one of the most unique lattes in HSR Layout. Marseli’s drinks menu ensures every visit is interesting, offering matcha and several creative, handcrafted blends. Beyond breakfast, Marseli’s pizzas, French toast, paninis, and croissants have earned rave reviews for their taste and quality. The house-made sauces, especially the marinara and pesto, are exceptionally good. Marseli has become a top recommendation for anyone searching for the best cafes in HSR Layout, Bengaluru breakfast spots, or a unique patisserie experience. If you’re looking for soulful food, stylish ambiance, and handcrafted European-inspired recipes, Marseli is the best new place to visit...
Read moreWe were a group of 6 who went there on Sunday night and by Monday, three of us were down with dysentery.
If you think this wasn’t food-related, I strongly disagree. I’m a vegetarian, but my friends ordered chilli chicken and the first piece they got had blood in it. The manager did agree to take it back, but honestly, serving something that is bad and unhygienic is just unacceptable.
The rest of the food didn’t make up for it either. The sandwiches and pizza were below average. I personally didn’t try the pastries or ice cream, but my friends said those were okay at best.
What surprised me most was the menu design: no veg, non-veg, or egg markers anywhere. I had to read every description carefully and still ended up asking the waiter multiple times to confirm whether something had egg in it. That’s just basic hygiene and clarity missing.
We all stay in HSR and were genuinely excited to try this new, fancy-looking place. But sadly, it turned out to be an expensive ₹4,000 lesson. None of us are going back.
Their pasta was decent, but surely no way...
Read moreThe food and ambience here are honestly amazing — but the staff will single-handedly ruin this place if something isn’t done soon. I came here yesterday and again today for breakfast, and both experiences were beyond frustrating. Yesterday, our order was messed up, and after calling the waitress for 30 minutes, she laughed and said they messed it up. Like, seriously? That’s not funny — it’s pathetic customer service. Today, I ordered the avocado toast breakfast, and they brought me scrambled eggs instead. How do you even mix that up? While sitting near the counter, I watched at least five other tables get up to complain about wrong or missing orders. Tissues not restocked, no cutlery on tables, staff constantly arguing among themselves instead of serving — the chaos is unreal. The food and vibe could easily make this one of the best breakfast spots around, but the staff are absolutely clueless and careless. If the owner doesn’t fix this fast, this place is going downhill, no matter how good...
