I recently visited Moti Mahal Delux Restaurant HSR for what I hoped would be an authentic experience of their renowned butter chicken and tandoori cuisines. Unfortunately, my visit was nothing short of a culinary disaster, and I feel compelled to share my experience with you.

Ashim Gujral, the director of Moti Mahal Delux, has worked hard to bring a blend of modern Indian dining with traditional recipes. However, the Moti Mahal Delux Restaurant HSR seems to be on a mission to demolish the goodwill of this beloved franchise.

Today, I ordered the authentic butter chicken and Veg Kofta (so-called soya) butter chicken. To my dismay, both dishes were awfully cooked. The so-called Veg Kofta turned out to be half-cooked wheat with hardly any soya, swimming in the same awful curry as the butter chicken.

This is not just about a disappointing meal; it's about the restaurant's disregard for quality. I implore everyone in our community to avoid Moti Mahal Delux Restaurant HSR and share this message to protect fellow food enthusiasts.

And to the restaurant captain who attended to us: said the recording feedback isn’t crucial for improvement he will pass on the message to the cook. This is not how a reputable establishment operates.

Wanted to give 0 star. IT IS NOT A FINE DINE RESTUARANT AS THEY ADVERTISE, OVERPRICED , BAD FOOD QUALITY AND UNTRAINED STAFF. THEY ARE LOOTING IN THE NAME OF FAMOUS DELHI RESTAURANT. ALL THE 5/4 STAR REVIEWS ARE BRIBED BY GIVING FREE DESSERT. Also read the review from "Back-up Dilip" account it pretty much sums up what you get from here. Wish I had checked it before visiting. Ambience here is worst, It is marked as fine dine but the atmosphere is equivalent to a road side tea stall. We ruined our anniversary dinner by going here. We made mistake of not leaving immediately. Food is average and does not justify the price. We ordered chicken afgani for starters and it was not cooked properly. First the place is stuffed with tables and there is barely any place to move. Second and MOST ANNOYING was - in the name of music they play 9xm/mtv channel on their TV on top volume. The sound quality is pathetic and will be piercing your ear drums while you eat. We politely asked them to turn down the volume as it was giving me a headache. They will show you that they are turning down the volume from tv control but within a minute they will sneakily increase volume again from tv remote. Real unprofessional behaviour.

Our bill for 1 chicken afghani starter and 1fresh lime soda was 700Rs. Thank god we did not had our main course at this place.

More than the food the disappointment was for the cunning and disgusting staff and the atmosphere provided for the amount charged.

Google up "restaurants near me" in 27th main. Moti mahal pops up & you say waahh. Just turned out to be uuuuwaahhhh. The entrance looks pretty similar to any fine dining restaurant & then suddenly get seated in a table which reminded a dhaba I had visited in Kohlapur highway! Flies, dust & no AC! I faced the kitchen & regretted every bite. There are 4 waiters & 1 keeps charging his phone forever & texting 2 girls busy watching songs & thought the one waiter would be better but is the clumsiest,even dropping one piece of my Rs 329/- Achari Tikka. Not to mention the cleaning lady who was either sweeping or mopping right next to our table,forever. The plates were unclean. The phone charging waiter kept going to the loo a million times giving us a beautiful view of the toilet every time we took a bite.We ordered butter chicken,jeera rice, achari tikka & bread basket. To be honest the tikka was ok with few pieces over cooked. The bread basket was really good & highly recommend. The butter chicken was good but didn't justify the tag 400/- & jeera rice was good & generous jeera made it a bit bitter. Overall a huge let down with ambience & service. It was smelly,stuffy & felt like I can just pay and leave, but not eat.The price tag is a shocker. Steer clear to dine but would think about ordering for apocalypse.
