I wish I could give a negative rating to this place. This wasn't just bad steak; it was a joke! Infact it's the world's worst steak ever!! Calling this the worst steakhouse on Earth isn't an exaggeration. I've eaten steaks during my stays in the US and Europe, even decent places in Bangalore, and this was garbage.
We went there to celebrate a birthday of a colleague, expecting something good. We got raw meat. The cook actually argued about "medium-rare" with something still bleeding. He couldn't even cut it himself! His excuse? Some clueless trainee who doesn't know how to cook. No one even checked what he was doing and there was no quality check. Unbelievable!
He convinced us that he will recook it. The rushed "fix" was cooked ok but tasted like nothing. Our celebration was ruined, and now my friend might get sick. I had to buy him medicine from a pharmacy. The owner was rude and defended this disaster saying that we ate 90% of the steak which is a total lie! After taking a few bites I complained to Kalidas and he kept telling us that's how the meat is, and I had to spit out one whole portion. My friend ate half of it but he started feeling sick and couldn't eat anything from the 2nd serving.
We only paid for one steak eventually!
This wasn't steak. It was an insult. A street food guy could do better. Stay far away from this place. It's a total rip-off!
Update: Had a bout of severe food poisoning last night after...

Sorry this review comes three months late—better late than never for a place that truly deserves appreciation. It took us nearly a year after moving into JP Nagar to discover Ninan’s Steakhouse, and we’re so glad we finally did. On a random Sunday brunch visit, we were treated to a memorable experience that still lingers in our minds (and taste buds).
The highlight of our meal was the Salmon Steak, which, while priced on the higher side, was absolutely worth it. My child still recalls the taste fondly—even after a recent visit to The Only Place for Mother’s Day, which says a lot! That memory alone was enough to prompt this long-overdue note of appreciation.
We also tried a couple of other steaks, and each one was cooked to perfection—exactly as we requested. The attention to detail, the care in preparation, and the overall warmth of the place made it a standout in JP Nagar’s dining scene.
What makes Ninan’s special isn’t just the food—it’s the consistent quality and the effort that clearly goes into every dish. It’s not just a steakhouse; it’s a passion project that shines through every bite.
We’re already looking forward to our next visit and hope the standards remain just as high. A big thank you to the team at Ninan’s for bringing such quality and heart to the table—literally.
Keep up the...
Read moreWe (my wife, a friend, and I) ducked into Ninan’s Steakhouse on a breezy Saturday evening, looking for comfort food and good conversation. From the moment the host greeted us with a genuine smile and led us into the warm, dimly lit dining room, it felt like we had stumbled into someone’s cozy living room rather than a busy city restaurant.
The sangria was a perfect start — refreshingly tangy with freshly crushed mint leaves that made each sip feel like summer in a glass. The highlight, of course, was the Classic Steak. Cooked exactly as ordered, it arrived sizzling, tender, and seasoned just right — the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-conversation just to savor the bite.
If I had to nitpick, the only challenge was finding parking. For cars, it can be tricky right outside, but you’ll save yourself hassle if you park near Lions Eye Hospital and take a short stroll over.
Pro tip: Go for the Classic Steak if it’s your first visit, but pair it with their sangria to round out the experience. It’s also a great spot if you’re looking to enjoy unhurried conversations over hearty food.
Leaving Ninan’s, we agreed it wasn’t just a steak dinner — it felt like a reminder of why sharing a table with people you love makes any meal...
