"Paris Panini" located in Indiranagar serves some mouth watering french street food. They are mainly specialized in Panini's.
Recently dropped down with couple of friends for lunch and had a great time here. The ambience is quite impressive and gives a feeling of franch interiors.
We ordered le 51 and Hot Chocolate in drinks. Both the drinks were freshly made in front of us and served on table. Le 51 is their signature drink, it so refreshing and has a unique taste.
In Panini, we ordered Sophie, Jean and Hugo. Panini's are basically a type of grilled sandwich in france and this place has done justice to it.
Sophie was a veg panini, with the fillings of fried onions, cucumber, olives and fresh cheese. It was really good it taste.
Jean was a bacon panini which I loved to core. Filled with mayo, bacon and cheese it was too good. If you are a bacon lover, I highly recommend to try this out.
Hugo was a chicken panini filled with fried chicken, mayo, olives and fresh cheese tasted delicious.
In sides, we ordered Cajun Spiced Fried, Cheese Toast, Ratatouille and Fried Chicken Strips. All the sides were served with a portion of homemade dips. The best part of this place is, they make their own breads and dips. So, it has a authentic taste to it.
Cajun Spiced Fries were made to perfection and tasted really well. It was freshly made from potato and double fried.
Cheese Toast was something which was really delicious and would always recommend to have it. Cheese was served on a toasted bread.
Ratatouille was something which I had for the first time and loved it. It was slow cooked exotic veggies to perfection served with a slice of bread.
Fried Chicken Strips was the star. Perfectly crispy and juicy chicken made by day.
In desserts, we ordered Nutella and Banana Crepes. It was freshly made in kitchen and served to us. It had a perfect balance of sweetness and was really worth having.
As per the pricing, the place serves great portion. Fresh food and all the ingredients are home made. I would definitely recommend this place to try out, if you are looking for some great french...
Read moreOverall, great food, great quality! We ordered the truffle mushroom soup with chicken, chicken tenders, Greek salad with chicken, lamb panini, bacon and feta wrap and a cappuccino.
I found the cappuccino disappointing - the coffee was bland and burnt.
The food was really good though. There was a good amount of chicken in the soup and salad, lamb in the panini and bacon in the wrap. Flavours were good and consistent, it was proper and authentic continental which I really appreciated. I love that they don't go overboard with the dressing, aioli and other condiments in the paninis and wraps. The chicken was also tender, not tough. Bread was good, on the softer side and not so crusty the way we like, but I understand why they make it like that. Next time though, I would ask for it to be toasted more.
The truffle mushroom soup was my husband's favourite and I liked it a lot too.
With the Greek chicken salad, we actually ordered the Caesar salad (I was pleasantly surprised to find that their Caesar dressing by default has egg - this is the way Caesar dressing should be because the egg adds a certain flavour and richness) but the waiter accidentally gave us the Greek salad. When he served it to us, I saw it and felt disappointed, thinking that now another place has reinvented the Caesar salad and made it something else totally. We tried it anyway and both my husband and I liked it a lot, so we just asked the waiter if that really was the Caesar salad. He told us he accidentally gave us the Greek salad and offered to change it. Since we liked it so much though, we said nevermind. And overall, the Greek salad with roasted chicken turned out to be my favourite. The chicken was tender, well-seasoned, the dressing was just slightly sweet, had some sourness, and the feta cheese was great and the quality and presentation (like how they sliced the red capsicum thinly) of the vegetables was really good.
I do hope they improve on their coffee but I will definitely be back, and I will make sure to try the...
Read moreI went here on a weekday afternoon with some friends. Its a cozy little setup in the busy lanes of Indiranagar. The place is done in bright white and blue colours. Seating is available inside and a small al fresco setup is done on the outside as well. They have valet service available.
Coming to the panini, its basically a sandwich made with fresh veggies and a filling of your choice. They freshly bake their bread everyday and have a multi grain variant available as well which is pretty good. In drinks, we tried their signature drink Le51 which is made with star anise and licorice. Its a nice soothing drink. Also tried the cold coffee and hot chocolate which were also well prepared.
On the food side, our order was onion rings, loaded chicken fries, an assortment of paninis and chocolate crepe, along with some great dips. The onion rings were crunchy and went great with the pesto dip. Must have dish. Loaded fries were true to the name. Loaded, messy but delicious nonetheless. In paninis, we went with multigrain bread and fillings of chicken, lamb and a vegetarian one as well. The chicken one was called Michel and contained peri peri chicken, fresh mozzarella, sliced onions and garlic aioli. I absolutely loved it. There was another called hugo with fried chicken, sun dried tomatoes, lettuce and basil aioli. It was pretty neat as well. The lamb one is Victor made with crumbled lamb, red paprika, onions, jalapenos and garlic aioli. Estelle was the veg one with roasted veggies, fresh mozzarella, jalapenos and olive tapenade. The portion size is excellent and you can also go for a half portion. Chocolate crepe with toasted almonds on top was the perfect end to a really satisfying meal.
Overall, it was a really wonderful lunch. All the paninis were excellent. We could tell that the bread and veggies plus meats were fresh and cooked on order. They have a couple of other dine in outlets available in Whitefield and Bellandur and some cloud kitchens as well. Do check and try them out....
