The place is good. Normal ambience nothing extraordinary. Food items: we ordered ghee roti (wheat phulka) , Missi Roti, Kadhai Paneer , kadi pakoda, Veg Pulao and butter milk. Ghee roti was good , upto the mark. Missi Roti was good too but it was mixed with wheat flour n onions , where as Missi Roti needs to be prepared with corn flour usually, the taste was good nevertheless. But if you are looking for authentic Missi Roti then this is not the place. Kadhai Paneer medium spicy, expected to be lil more spicy and Kadhi Pakoda taste was good but Pakoda needs to be cooked well. Veg Pulao is normally good just like any other hotel. Buttermilk was great. Service was good, no multiple options for sweets/desserts. Single sweet per day. Something which disappointed me greatly was at the entrance of the hotel, the dirty black drainage water flowing wide and we need to cross it and enter the hotel. Since we went to Bellandur for some shopping and looking for good food near by , we found this and this was the first time for us, I'm not sure if the crossing condition is always there or it was for a time being. However it is, it's better to make a proper system...
Read moreHonest home delivery review,
First time ordered from this food joint, after reading positive reviews.
Ordered ghee roti thali, and veg thali
i must say, that this food really close to the food that we eat in our homes
The only concern was in both the thalis which i have ordered i had received the same items
Dal, aalu gobhi dry sabji, paneer curry, ghee roti, rice, pickle, papad
But overall food was really really homely.
Don't keep any expectation of spicy or oily of creamy, rich food, because this food is very similar to home food, you can consider this restaurant as a tiffin center/mess, rather then a traditional restaurant (m saying it in positive way)
Overall highly recommend any one who wants to have simple, homely, north Indian food, to try this restaurant out.
Food taste : 3/5 Packaging : 3/5 Price : cheap Food...
Read moreFirst of all, kudos to whosoever came up with the name "Phulke Ghar Ke". The word "Phulke" does bring a smile on your face, especially when you are in a place where "Phulke" are more commonly known as "Chapatis".
Ordered "Veg Thali" from "Phulke Ghar Ke" yesterday night, must acknowledge that "Phulke" did live up to the name, they were really like the Home Made - Mom Made Phulkas. The thali comprised of two vegetable curries - 'Paneer' & 'Jeera Aaloo', 'Chana Daal', 'Jeera Rice' and 'Salad'. Jeera Aaloo was decent, but Dal, Paneer & Jeera Rice could have been better. But, the quantity of curries and rice was a lot - two thalis were sufficient for three of us, also curries and Dal had very less oil.
Not a bad option if you want to order simple...
