RUH — Restaurant in Bengaluru

If you are looking for an Arabian and Mediterranean food Ruh is a place to be. It also has quirky yet amazing ambience. I loved their unique way of door opening which only opens when you say those magic words. I had been to this restaurant on a weekday along with my friends for dinner and loved their food and dark ambience. 🍒🥕🌽🍇🌶️🥒🥦🍄🌰🥐🥨🥞🍗🍖🥩🥓🍕🌭🌮🥘🍲🥙🍳🥣🥗🍱🍚🍛🍤🍦🥧🍰🎂🍧🍨🍵

🇦The ambience is simply amazing. It's dark, magnificent and simply gives you a long lasting memories to cherish. They also provide you with the nawabi attire and pose for the pictures with your loved ones and also give you a feel of a royal and relaxed dining. The seatings are pretty good, they can host over 100 people. They also have those relaxed cushions placed on the ground for those relaxing hookah sessions. The lightings are very dim all thanks to their concept.

🇸The service at this place is pretty good, the crew members are given their set of nawab clothing which is unique. They are always ready to help and very courteous.

🇫🍽️What I ate ??? 🍵Al harira soup ➡️ The soup not only looked yummy but also tasted good. It was a mixture of fine slim slices of lamb skin and vegetables.

🥗Fattoush salad ➡️ The presentation was good, it had good mixture of crunchy pita crisps and vegetables such as cucumber,onions, lettuce and tomatoes. They were as a bar bite.

🍛 Non veg mezze platter ➡️ The hummus with the pita bread was too good. The pita bread was soft too. The samosa which was provided in the platter was a surprise one which tasted really good. The platter was good to see with food items filled completely.

🥦Gobi harimirchwala ➡️ One of the best vegetarian starter available at this restaurant. It was Juicy, courtesy it was sauced up well and I loved the gravy as well. They were cooked perfectly.

🍤 Prawns infused in garlic olive oil ➡️ It was one those unique and very unconventional seafood starter. The prawns were literally swimming in the bowl which was full of olive oil. The prawns tasted good but I'm not sure with the concept.

🍲Paneer korma ➡️ The gravy was rich and creamy all thanks to the cottage cheese that was used. The korma was simply amazing with the roomali roti that accompanied them.

🍗Murg makhani ➡️ Murg makhani was soft,silky and tasted good with the roomali roti. It was simply a mouth watering stuff. I would say it is one of the must try at Ruh.

🥩 Special dhania keema mutter ➡️ This was something very different. The preparation must be given full marks. They were soft and scrumptious.

🍾🍷🍸🍹🍺🍻🥂🥃 They have quite a good set of cocktails which are eye catchy and very strong too. The presentation of the cocktails are worth to showoff them in the social networking sites. Few of the cocktails were WTF, genie in a bottle, flaming waterfall of Mexican coffee.

🍸Genie in a bottle ➡️ This was my favourite among all the cocktails. It was a thick vodka based cocktail which was served in a genie bottle. The dry ice was used for nice catchy presentation. The cocktail was strong.

🍫 Chocolate bomb ➡️ Chocolate bomb on anyday is a treat to your taste buds no doubt. The big choco ball which had a scoop of vanilla ice cream hiding inside it tasted amazing. The chocolate poured on it was rich. It is a must try dessert for every chocolate lover.

🍮 Baklawa ➡️ It was a nice dessert provided along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

All in all Ruh is one amazing place for spending quality time with your friends and family. They have special set-up for special days such as valentine's Day and birthdays to surprise your dear ones. Their ambience is simply amazing. Anybody will go gaga over it for sure. Their food has good varieties, be it starters or platers. On a personal note I loved their platters. Their cocktails are very strong and one of the best in presentation. They also provide varieties of hookah flavours and their nice couchy concept is...

Located at Bellandur near the Central Mall this place is a hidden gem I would say. With the outer looks of the building most of the people don't prefer this place but lemme tell you there's a beautiful dreamy heaven inside 😍 They have a parking space and the restaurant is located on the 4th floor of the building.

You come out of the lift to witness a beautiful lady welcoming you and a closed door too. Guess what ! You gotta say " Khul Ja Sim Sim " for the doors to open for you 😍 Isn't it interesting! And then you enter into this gigantic place with such eye catching decors. All Mughal themed. There's a photo booth where you can wear the clothes like Mughal emperors and snap pictures. And there's Allaudin's lamp and the Genie too for the kids 😍 ( but it's currently not available )

The tables set up with the curtains & comfortable seating and beautiful candlesticks surely win your heart...the wall has posters of the mughal empire and the women. The place is divided into two...one is where the hookah is served and the other is family section...omg !!❤️ I can't tell you how royal and fantabulous the family seating area looks like😍 with all the chandeliers and the big giant mirrors, the pool with candles around, the gigantic seating leaves you awe struck. And for the valentine's day it's a very special place you can bring in to surprise your valentine with the candlelight dinner at this place 😍❤️

Coming to food they serve you mughlai, Mediterranean and north indian food. Their quirky menu is very exciting ( get the surprise when you visit the place )👻

We ordered

Mushroom cappuccino soup : Was served in a cocktail glass , was thick and piping hot & tasted good.

Al harira soup : Made of tomato, lentils and chickpeas.This was decent.

Fatoush salad : I loved the salad the best. Made with fried pieces of khubz with greens and fresh pomogranete and other veggies. Healthy food tasted so good for once.

Veg Mezze platter : This one had Cheese samosas, rolls, pita bread and the amazing dips🤤 Loved their dips more than everything else.

Aloo tikki and harabhara kabab : So Yummilicious this was😍 Both of them were cooked to perfection that they melted down the oesophagus.

Prawns infused in garlic olive oil : Loved the prawns served with the garlic bread. It was little blunt but tasted good and also it was cooked very well.

Murgh Harimirchwala : We actually packed it home and had it for the next day too, that's how good it was. Spicy and goes very well with the drinks and hookah.

Dal makhani : it's very rare that such places serve some good authentic north indian food. But this one is not gonna disappoint you 🤤❤️

Murgh makhani : It was a little too sweet hence felt it to be decent.

Lamb moussaka : Arabian version of Lasagna I guess 🤤❤️ Found this to be the best one among the main course 🤤❤️

Desserts are always the decision makers. For me desserts decide my next visit and for this place am definitely gonna be back there very soon 🙈 We tried Tiramisu Chocolate bomb I loved the Chocolate bomb🤤❤️ Omg ! Already I started craving for it 🤤❤️

Coming to drinks they have a huge menu of drinks and almost all of it that we tried were lit😍 The Black Magic ❤️ WTF😍 And many more. And also I loved their Hookah 😍

Service is a bit slow and that is already mentioned on the menu too. They take minimum 30mins to serve your order as they prepare after you ask for it. But that's good too cos you get to...

Ruh - Hidden Gem in Bangalore, Most famous for their Arabian themed restaurant decor which includes Candle Light Dinners & Hookahs.

Located near to Bellandur Central, setup on the top floor.. Outsiders will have no idea what this place has got to offer.The diners has to say "Khulja Sim Sim" to enter the place. Staff crew are dressed up as Arabian costumes to give you the feel going.They have a photo place & Dress props as well for the diners to dress up for poses.The place has got dim lighting to setup the mood with tents, chandeliers, photos & lights to transport you to different place :) happy to see families having a great time too with hookah. ( not many places I see where families come n enjoying hookah)

Kudos to the Owner & Support staff to come up with a place like this & running it successfully for around 10 years in Bangalore.

Food :

#Al harira soup : Traditional Moroccan soup dish made up of Lamb, lentils , Chickpeas ...Definitely recommended to try here.

#Mushroom Cappuccino Soup : Served in Cocktail Glass, was decent & pretty hot.

#Smoked Chicken Salad : Not a big fan of salads, But this was very good.. Fresh lettuce, olives, chicken sliced, crispy bread pieces.. Damm, I loved it #MustTry

#NonVegMezzePlatter : Consisting of various meats, sides which are Fish croquettes, Samosas, Chicken with Hummus, Pita Bread, baba ganooush..This is a good bet to order so to try different foods . Personally loved Fish Croquettes & Samosas..wish Pita bread is more softer.

#KadiPatta Chicken : Chicken wings for the spice Lovers. Good to go with the drinks.

#Falafel with Hummus : Classic dish to order in Arabian places, doesn't disappoint you :) Fresh & Healthy

#Ruh Special Chicken Steak Sizzler : Classic Chicken sizzler got its turn here which is served with Chicken Steak, grilled pineapple, herb rice, macaroni, topped with sunny side up...Steak is well cooked & so was the herb rice

#Vegetable Tagine : Classic Moroccan Tagine served in a special pot with veggies & couscous.. #WorthTry

#Paneer Korma : Love the way this dish is served. white pot consisting thick paneer curry giving a hint of sweet flavor.. Accompanied with bread, pickle & onions.. #MustTry

#Special Dhaniya Kheema Mutter : Mutton mince grounded well , cooked along with mutter was more like a homemade version of it. very warm & tasty. Served along with bread, rice, pickled onions ... #MustTry , Order this & Thank me Later.

#Baklava : Classic Rich dessert from Middle East. Loaded with nuts , thick layers of filo with chopped nuts is served along ice cream scoop.. #MustTry

#BakedAlaska with Flambe : Ice cream placed in a pie cake topped with Meringue. Whisky is poured if needed with fire to give the extra special feel for the dessert

Drinks:

I like the fact that every drink is served with complimentarty fruit or snack which matcjes the taste of the drink n go along with it...

Presentation of the drinks makes it more appealing n worth it..

I loved Ruh Virgin Holy water, BlueMoon in the mocktails...

Definitely recommended n will come...
