Read moreI have been visiting this mall since 2012. It was Central but now it Is CENTRO.
On the ground floor there is KFC, MacDonalds, Pizza Hut, Reliance Smart Bazaar, Chaat Lounge, Madhuloka and Mobishield. KFC, Macd, Madhuloka and Pizza Hut are atleast 10 years old. Chaatlounge was recently Cafe Coffee Day when the mall was Bangalore Central, and Mobishield was PopHop, a popsicle store.
Like other malls, It has a circular garden and a Desserts store called Dock frostd, but it stays closed now. Food is almost good and tasty. Washroom is also been renovated. Food Bazaar is Now Reliance Smart Bazaar, but it lacks a Café, Taste of Rome and many other mini shops in the bazaar.
In first floor, there is Women Western wear just like before, and a watch and perfumes center. There are also extra escalators to directly enter.
In second floor, there is a toy store Called Hamleys, which is half-closed with many sections emptied and closed, and all things are messed up. ONLY childish toys are there, unlike the HotWheels and car sections which ARE ALL GONE. There is a new furniture store recently opened called Urban Ladder. This place indeed has mesmerizing furnitures, but the store looks SO BLANK⬜and i women's Indian wear, Soch and Libas.
In third, there are men's clothes etc.
In fourth floor there is a small PVR with a missing trailer and A bicycle store and bags store. And that's it.
But I miss the fifth and sixth floors a lot. Even the huge circular balcony with a Cafe called Costa🥺
It was closed last year, but now it is renovating. They have demolished the floors and are re-constructing it. And for the balcony, it's open for workers.
Toss food Lounge, Costa, Charcoal, Sharaab factory, panchavati gaurav, 7d voyage, Strykes bowling, a play arena etc. are all gone, but now there's going to be some good eatery again in the both floors, I suppose 🤔
The floors would be open in the end of the year I think. There is a large hole in the side of the mall.
Even though this mall lacks things now like the mini concert in the ground floor, It is still fun. Enjoy the hygienic chaat and many others things in the...
Read moreRegular Average Central experience. It has a very dull ambience with no vibes or activities, promos etc going on to pull crowds. Everybody is busy in their own and the staff doesn't smile much. Almost like they want you to leave asap so they can leave too.
Apparel mostly suitable for thick-framed folks. Lots of Gowns all around, almost like they want you to switch to wearing long Cinderella type Gowns now. Hard to find something simple love-at-first-sight type clothing @ Central these days.
Mall has a kids section for regular toys but my toddler got rigid about an electric you car which the play area staff was very reluctant to let us even touch.
To earn some extra income they have lent the outside area for local vendors selling stuff at higher price and making the mall look like a Bazaar. People used to sit and chill in this Central near the small waterfall setup, but you can't anymore because of these stalls. Sad. Next big step would probably be probably selling Jhaal-moori and 99-Dosa stalls.
Has a washroom section on the 1st floor, so if you want to make a quick stop, jump right in.
Has both McDonals and KFC eateries on the ground floor. KFC is hands down not good, they serve stale chicken along with one or two fresh ones. Typical local eatery tricks. McDonalds could be a better choice instead, at least I haven't experienced stale items. They also have a Zero-contact ordering Kiosk too. If you not in the mood, simply order a Softy/cone from the coffee section for 30 bucks each and sir down and relax.
Mall also hosts a grocery store, lkke all malls, but don't remember which one it was but it definitely is there.
Worst part: They have placed two toy-cars near the escalators and ground floor entrance and soon as you bring yourself near the entrance with kids, they go nuts seeing the remote-controlled-plastic on 4-wheels and you need to spend a couple of hundreds just for three rounds every time you visit this place. This would only of you are entering from the front entrance though. You can always choose to take the lift in...
