We visited the restaurant last week and we liked the ambience and the food. The restaurant is however pricey, and do not be misled by approximate costs displayed online. As we liked the food and because we stay close by, we ordered for home delivery after three days and that is when the horrible experience started. I ordered for Biriyani, chicken roast, chicken pepper fry and lamb chops and specifically mentioned that I would like to use Google Pay option for payment. While the delivery was prompt, we were horrified to find that both chicken pepper fry and roast were BURNT (photo attached) and we were delivered three pieces of lamb chops with hardly any meat on them. Moreover, when I made the payment via G-pay, the amount was immediately deducted from my account but due to some technical glitch, was not deposited to the delivery person’s account. Instructions on Google Pay clearly advised me not to make a repeat payment and hence I tried to reassure him that the payment would be eventually credited to his account, at which he started to get verbally abusive and shouted at us. In addition, the restaurant called me to insist to repeat the payment in spite of me sharing SMS alerts from my bank and the F&B manager told me that they would refund the excess payment if at all. Clearly, they do not trust their customers while they expect us to trust them with repeat payments unreservedly. Though I personally went to the restaurant the same evening to reassure them that I had raised the issue with my bank as well, I got repeated calls from the restaurant and the delivery guy as well. I had done everything in my capacity to sort out the matter and finally the payment is now deposited into the delivery person’s account. Take home messages: • While the in house dining and food is good, please note they are pricier than what online sites display • Home delivery food is not worth it at all, and was in fact a harassment in my case and is better avoided. • Extremely unprofessional behavior especially during these times of the pandemic, when the hospitality industry is under unprecedented stress and duress. It looks like they are happy with one time orders and do not expect customers to visit or order more than once. Best wishes to them if that is the case. PS: We do not expect them to send us complimentary sweets in lieu of...

The restaurant’s decor pays homage to the rich cultural tapestry of India, with subtle touches that bring a contemporary flair. It’s a place where families gather to celebrate, friends meet to catch up, and food enthusiasts come to indulge in a gastronomic adventure.
The Flavors of Authenticity
Rangstaalamm’s menu is a treasure trove of flavors, each dish telling a story of its origins. The Andhra-style Biryani is a must-try, with its layers of fragrant rice and succulent meat infused with a blend of exotic spices that dance on the palate. The North Indian cuisine is represented in all its glory, with a butter chicken that boasts a perfect balance of creamy tomato gravy and tender chicken pieces. At the cost that I paid, the Food is Okey and not that great.

Read moreToday I have ordered 2 Andhra chilli chicken (Rangasthalam restaurant RR nagar) via using Swiggy app at 9.45PM on 02/11/2023. The order number is ORDER #157911396436260, The cost of order is 660rs including delivery charges it's 756rs.
The ordered delivered by the swiggy is on time. I unwrapped the boxes and shocked there was only two boned pieces in each boxes, suddenly I called up the restaurant and informed. They denied in the beginning and finally asked me to come restaurant for exchange. I visited Rangasthalam restaurant between 10:30PM to 10:45PM to exchange without having his dinner.
The Rangasthalam incharge person came and took the boxes from me and told to wait for few minutes. After waiting for 10mins the same person came and told there was many pieces in the box and the same he shifted into the plate. So I asked why did you took the box inside Kitchen and not opened front of me, so the incharge person who is wearing black blazer started abusing me and told to leave the restaurant immediately if not he will harm me.The whole incident recorded in the restaurant CCTV CAMERA. The same has been informed to swiggy at 11:38PM on 02/11/2023.
I told him in a polite manner it's illegal to do such activities and left the restaurant and called up the Rangasthalam restaurant to inform the incident to hotel manager. But no use I tried twice they did not connect to the manager and not ready to resolve the matter.
I was treated badly in the restaurant and defamed in front of others, i forcibly put into mental pressure and unwanted stress with anxiety. The rude behavior of the Rangasthalam restaurant staff is not unacceptable. Kindly never visit...
