Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Refreshments (SLV Refreshments) — Restaurant in Bengaluru

For a truly authentic South Indian late lunch, we headed to SLV, and it was absolutely perfect! We ordered a feast of classic dishes: Idli, Vada, Masala Dosa, and, of course, their legendary super strong coffee.

The taste was simply divine – pure, unadulterated South Indian comfort food. The Idli was soft and fluffy, the Vada was perfectly crispy, and the Masala Dosa was expertly made with a delicious filling. Everything was just as it should be, highlighting the simplicity and quality of the ingredients.

The ambiance at SLV is wonderfully local, a true reflection of the neighborhood. It's a no-frills, down-to-earth place where you can enjoy delicious food without any pretense. And the best part? South of puttenahalli, this is probably the oldest restaurant. I have been coming here since 2008. Apart from a minor restructuring a few years back, this place has stayed unchanged. They serve what most darshinis serve - idli, rave idli, dosa, kharabhath, Kesari bhath, coffee and tea. They serve meals and Kerala parota at lunch time ( may be available at dinner time, not sure).
