Worst Chat ever tasted..

On 25-Jun-2022, went to Malleswaram to taste few authentic foods like Veena stores, CTR, Sri Ragavendra Stores, Gowdaru Egg Rice, etc., In that list, I have add this Sri Sai Ram Chats as well. But finally I understood that there are 2 shops available in the same name as "Sri Sai Ram Chats". I have tasted the first shop while coming from Veena stores. The chat is worst and tasteless. I have ordered Crazy Chat and Hongkong chat. Both is botti/kurkure snacks covered with tomato sauce. The gentlelady in the shop pouring plain water in the paani poori pot. It looks lke there is no preparation for anything. Just refilling it plain water whenever pani poori paani gets emptied.. Pathetic !!

I recommend please have a chat in any Udupi restaurants instead of spoiling your energy and mood after tasting chat...

Well this place has been a chats for many many years. They were a street away.. since 5 years they are placed inside 17 or 18 cross..Can't remember correctly. Anyway they have tons of variety in dry chats.. some of the names a funny too. Plz ask what is the chat before you place the order. The sitting place is limited to 3 or 4 ppl at one time. More often people stand outside the shop or third vehicles and relish the food. Food is average ..But I think some of the chats at this place are really innovative.

The owner of the place is very down to earth. The staff is very cooperative.

You may not find 4 wheeler parking you may have to park in the next lane...

Totally disappointed and so not worth the hype. We had chips masala and crazy chat. Apparently these were their speciality and so not worth thr money. The chipps masala was just extremely soggy chips and the masala was not mixed well. Crazy chat is just kurkure style chips (different variety) and mixed with sweet and spicy chutney and dhai. I think everything was fine untill i saw and tasted curd on it. Disaster. Also, the guy in the counter us super rude and doesn't appreciate if you don't talk in the language.
