Swathi Gardenia — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I faced humiliation at Swathi Gardenia. I was asked to stand up and leave the seat and in fact I was forced to leave the restaurant with rude and misbehave with so called person Manager in Swati Gardenia.

I entered Swati Gardenia and seated on a table of four which was not clean. After almost 10 mins someone came to clean the table. Then I had to call someone for order. I ordered Lime Soda and I came tired and wanted to have some snacks after that. I had clearly informed staff I am waiting to have lunch with my friend for whom I was waiting and have some snacks meanwhile. They asked me couple of times what I need and still did not get Lime soda which I ordered.

Then their so called Manager came and forced me to stand up and leave the table of four. I thought he is asking me to change seat for table of 2. As I expected one guest along with me. But rather I was offered a table of four again but a broken table and where AC was not working. That too some other customer came and sat. Ultimately i was left standing.

I told them is this how you treat customer and misbehave, still Manager behave was like as if it does not matter to him. I told him either you ask customer to vacate the place where I was sitting or I leave. He still behaved as if it does not matter to him. And he replied mam I cannot ask customer to leave the table. Now suddenly other customer became important to him. And I was useless to enter the restaurant.

I don't know if there is any law which should take action on such case of humiliation and harassment.

I finally left the place with this black remark of Swathi Gardenia service and misbehave. Atleast, I would not recommend or go such place again where they cannot respect customer and individual. Also Swathi gardenia ambience is low on rating.

Although I felt what happens is all god wants. I realized this place was not good to host a friend I was meeting after long and she was coming after health checkup. We further went to NH8 where we got good calm seating and was really good hosting from them. Infact they gave us women discount and treated us...

Yesterday, I visited Swathi Gardenia near Kodigehalli Gate for lunch, and my experience was a mix of positives and areas for improvement.

Starting with the ambiance, the restaurant provides a welcoming and pleasant environment. The staff were polite, attentive, and quick to respond to our needs, which made the dining experience enjoyable. Their friendly attitude is definitely a highlight, as it adds a personal touch to the service.

We ordered their Biriyani, among other dishes, which arrived promptly. While the presentation and portion size were good, the taste of the Biriyani was slightly disappointing. The gravy that accompanied the dish had too much salt, which unfortunately overpowered the flavors and affected the overall experience. It’s unfortunate because the dish had the potential to be excellent with better seasoning.

On a more positive note, the other dishes we tried were well-prepared and flavorful, which somewhat made up for the salty Biriyani gravy. Additionally, the restaurant maintains good hygiene standards, and the pricing is reasonable for the quality and quantity offered.
