If you're expecting a score for all the things, I'm sorry to tell you I can't put a score on it because I see art in everything, and I believe art cannot be measured. So if you're interested in what I am offering, read ahead.
If you're done with Starbucks, Tim Hortons, and the third wave coffees of the world and want to explore coffee that is so beyond that, I'd recommend this place to you. I am the kind of person who doesn't believe what you say but believes what you do, and trust me when I say I was a skeptic walking into this place and walked out a fan. This is the same thing I told the main barista of the place; he has such immense passion for coffee that it shows in his work.
I tried the extract chilled espresso made from 100% arabica; it was so aromatic and flavorful that it made me believe in the coffee movement that's happening in Bangalore back again from the point of "I've lost interest in coffee shops." This is not for everyone; it's for the ones who enjoy the flavor of coffee every bit and want more of it, so if you're that guy/gal, then go for this one. My friend, who's not such an avid fan of coffee flavor, took a sip and left it all together, but I kept wanting it more and more. I am not saying much; go experience it if you're the person I described above.
The first thing I got from what we ordered is the orange Cold brew, and so when the Espresso came afterwards they gave me shot of soda along with it so that I can cleanse my palatte before having the Espresso, that is the level of Attention that they've put to the experience of coffee you're having there, coming back to cold brew coffee, if you're the type of person who loves coffee so much and wants to experience the possibility of what a coffee could be out of the mainstream bounds of the coffee, then I would recommend this to you , when I asked the head barista about whats his favourite ,he recommend me this one , I'll be honest when I am saying this , the first sip I took I went like "yo, what is this?" I was very much taken aback by the fact that this was what he recommended to me; then I took the second sip, and I felt like I should explore it more. Then, on the third sip, I finally understood why he recommended this coffee to me. I believe his main intention with this place is to break one's expectation of what coffee is.
My friend told me she wanted something spicy and cheesy. Though I went for a coffee there, I must say I was very impressed with the kopaa da bun; it's exactly what I told them I wanted and what they delivered. This tells about the precision of flavor they have even on the things that are not coffee, although I must say that I saw a lot of people ordering the classic Korean bun, so I guess it might be the crowd favorite.
And if I want to nitpick about things, then I could say the service could be better because when I went there, I had to ask the waiter to clear the dishes, and he took less than a minute to clear them out, and the place was at its full occupancy at that time, so I think it's very fair to give them the benefit of the doubt here.
All in all, if you love coffee to the point that you want an experience out of the ordinary, this place would be perfect for you.
(I'm so sorry, I don't remember your name, but the person who was at the cash, managing all the things other than coffee there, if you're reading this, this is for you.) You're doing such an amazing job; I forgot to tell you in person. I love your passion and support towards his...
Read moreDrip and Drop coffee has been a revelation! To be honest, I came in two minds having heard about the place from Kripal Ammanna’s vlog. Usually, I don’t trust these YouTubers!
We ordered the hazelnut and orange flavours of the iced coffee. For food, we ordered the Mr. Maillard burger, a Bagel toastie with a sweet Almond croissant.
As for the food, the burger was executed exceptionally well! The patty created using mushrooms with cheese as a binder held its shape and texture really well. Usually these veggie patties simply ooze out from the sides as you take your first bite. This burger holds well!
The bagel left much to be desired though. I’ve tasted the best bagels in NYC so my benchmark is quite high and this one somehow didn’t match my expectations. Though, to be fair, I’ll try their bagel sandwiches before passing judgement. The almond croissant was absolutely delectable!
As for the iced coffee mochas, nothing can be said in words! Hands down, one of the best iced mochas I’ve had in my life! The hazelnut flavour naturally lends itself to coffee and chocolate. But the orange one was also perfectly balanced. The orange was present more as an after note without dominating the palate. Five stars here!
The cafe has limited space though. It’s more for a quick beverage and snack fix as opposed to a hangout space. Restrooms are very clean and well maintained. There’s limited parking in front.
The owner is very polite and is more than happy to talk about the menu and all things coffee.
I’d definitely love to return and try other items from their exhaustive beverage menu!...
Read moreDrip n Drop Coffee is, without a doubt, one of the finest cafés in town. After more than ten visits, I can confidently say their consistency in quality is unmatched. Each experience has been as delightful as the first — a rare find in today’s ever-changing café culture.
One of the things I appreciate most is how friendly and accommodating the team is. They’re always happy to customise your order to perfection, no matter how specific the request. It truly makes every visit feel personal and welcoming.
Their menu is full of standouts, but if I had to pick favourites, Mr. Maillard Burger deserves a special mention — hands down, the best burger in town. Rich, flavourful, and made to perfection. Their bagels are equally remarkable — fresh, soft, and generously filled, and perfect.
The ambience is the cherry on top. The interiors strike a beautiful balance between classy and cozy, making it the kind of place where time slips away quietly while you sip your coffee/komucha/matcha lattes and take it all in.
Whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee or settling in for a relaxed meal, Drip n Drop Coffee delivers every single time. Highly...
