Not my first time to The Fisherman’s Wharf, I have been to their outlet in Goa & I had absolutely loved it. When I was raving about how good the place was, my good friend {Fat Piggy} told me they have an outlet in Namma Bengaluru too.

So, bookmarked them ages ago, but went very recently for their Christmas brunch, after a little incident in a nearby Christmas brunch, which was a little rude from seating to service. So walked away & discovered that {The Fisherman's Wharf} is just a short distance away, called them, made a booking on one of the most busiest weekends & landed here.

The first thing that strikes you is the ambiance, a very rustic, old worldly charm of a warm & welcoming home. There is a striking Margarita Bar which runs through the middle of the property, with high bar seatings on all four sides.

Being a crowded Sunday, we managed to get only an outdoor, open to air seating. We got help to adjust our seating to avoid getting exposed to direct sun. After settling down, we opted for an unlimited Mocktail buffet brunch, & ordered the Pink Lady & a Pineapple Cojito. While the Pink Lady was very refreshing, the Cojito, which essentially was a Virgin Colada, was very soothing in the afternoon sun.

We hit our starters, which was limited but of good quality & quantity. We had an unlimited serving of Prawn Satay, Grilled Fish, Barbecued Chicken & some Chicken Wings. The Prawn Satay was beautifully cooked, nicely flavoured, but we had to avoid a few sticks, cause we suspected the veins had not been removed.

The Barbecue Chicken was lovely, wonderfully seasoned, though my family found it a tad bit sweeter.

The fish again was great, loved it & for a change, it was made with Seer Fish or Surmai (usually more expensive as well) as against the usual basa fish.

The Chicken Wings were nicely different & we enjoyed it as much as the rest of the starters.

The vegetarian starters served included hariyali Tikki, Mini Pizza & the like, they were quiet impressive as well.

After several reminders we managed to get a portion of Dim Sums, which were absolutely perfect & we loved every bit of them, especially the accompanied Sauce was beautifully spicy, still well balanced. We liked it so much that we ordered for just another 3 pieces & we were served a whole plate of 8, which we could not do justice after finishing off the main course.

Yes, some of our repeats did arrive after we finished our mains, but was worth the wait, but definitely the service situation could be improved. My strong view is that such wonderful food should not be undermined by mediocre service.

The mains were more than decent, the Crab & fish curry topping our favourites. The Mutton Biriyani was flavoured heavily with ghewar, with a mild Mutton flavour, which made me believe that almost every other Biriyani served in buffets across the city have a common origin. The options were too much that I hardly tasted any of the veg mains.

Desserts were fairly decent, with the range going wide across Indian favourites & a few international favourites.

Overall I am happy with the food & would definitively give a thumbs up to The Fisherman’s Wharf, and finally, looks like we have found a buffet place that’s loved by the entire family closer to where we live. Here is to many more visits here for some...

This is one of those special places that blows your mind away! The place not just offers an amazing dining experience just because of the food, but also the ambiance and atmosphere and the fun vibe that comes with the place.

The ambience is fantastic, it’s open and spacious with greenery around you. The place is huge and gives more of a park feel than a restaurant. There’s ample open space and the seating too is quite spread out giving the diners the privacy and space. It’s absolutely lovely! It brings out the spirit of relaxation and fun, and surely you feel the laziness associated with a Goan holiday.

The staff - right from the valet parking to the reception to the service staff - they are polite and helpful. The service is amazing and they do great with time too! A big shout out to the staff who add to the overall experience at this place.

The food here is awesome! The place has so many food options that you end up regretting not being able to try it all!! And to complicate things, everything tastes so great!!! The sea food is the specialty and it’s a place that to a good extent does justice to the menu from the Goan restaurants. I wouldn’t call the food authentic Goan but it’s a modern fusion that is popular in most restaurants now. The seafood - be it the starters (buffet or otherwise) or the main course - it’s fantastic! The fish feels fresh and the dishes we ordered were flavorful and cooked to perfection. Be it the fish and chips or garlic prawns, or the prawn tempura (must try!) or masala fried squid, they were all awesome! The chicken dishes and the pork too were really tasty , our fav being chicken tikka and the pork Pao. The pork chilly is also equally wonderful and if you like to enjoy the Goan style then surely go with pork vindaloo and breads. The main course is packed too - the menu ranges from Goan cuisine (do try the fish rice), to Chinese to Arabic to continental do one is certainly spoilt for choice.

Desserts!! Wow!! They were just amazing and I would highly recommend the blue berry cheese cake and tiramisu but there are so many other mouth watering options to choose from.

What’s more, there’s alcohol too! The cocktails are amazing , both in quantity of preparation and the portion. I did feel the alcohol content was a bit on the lower side on them but overall they were great! There’s beer (incl from toit) in all shapes and form and from all the popular brands. Same with alcohol so feel free to knock yourself out!

The place also has buffet (unlimited food and drinks) options which are very reasonably priced and value for money. There’s also vendors that provide freshly prepared savories and ice creams.

Overall a great place with a complete package! There’s great food, great drinks, reasonable pricing and a fantastic ambiance. You can come here on a date, with family or friends or even for company outings! An absolute fun...

An Unforgettable Culinary Voyage at Fisherman’s Wharf, Bengaluru

My recent visit to Fisherman’s Wharf on Haralur Road, Bengaluru, was an absolutely delightful and memorable experience. This place does not just serve meals, but delivers unforgettable gastronomic journeys, echoing the exotic flavours of Goan cuisine.

The first thing that grabs your attention upon arriving at the Fisherman's Wharf is its ample private parking space, a luxury not common in Bengaluru’s bustling streets. This makes the start of your experience worry-free and convenient.

The ambiance of the restaurant, taking cues from the charm of Goa, is inviting and warm. With its rustic wooden interiors, nautical decor, and soft, glowing lights, it transports you straight to the sun-kissed beaches of Goa, a perfect escape from the urban chaos.

Live music serenades you as you settle down, providing an auditory feast that complements the tantalizing aromas wafting from the kitchen. The blend of the old classics and new hits played by talented local musicians imbues a serene yet joyful atmosphere that enriches your dining experience.

The menu, curated by the incredibly talented and courteous Chef Abhishek, is a Goan food lover's paradise. The signature Goan Fish Curry with Rice was a revelation. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection, the curry rich and tangy, paired immaculately with soft, aromatic rice. The Xacuti, a traditional Goan dish, was brimming with complex, earthy spices that left my palate yearning for more. The Goan Poi, fresh and fluffy, served as the perfect accompaniment to the spice-laden dishes.

The climax of this culinary journey was the freshly made dessert, Bebinca. The multi-layered Goan delicacy, sweet and aromatic, served warm, is a must-try. Each bite was a perfect blend of rich flavors and soft textures, which left a sweet, lingering taste.

I must commend the exceptional service provided by Hari and his team. From the moment we entered, we were treated with promptness and professionalism. The team's quick delivery of food and drinks ensured a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.

In conclusion, Fisherman's Wharf, Haralur Road, Bengaluru, is an absolute gem that delivers on all fronts - from the atmosphere and service to the food. If you are a fan of Goan cuisine or just someone looking for a novel dining experience in the city, this place is not to be missed. Rest assured, the delectable taste of their dishes and the enchanting ambience will leave you planning your next visit before...

A huge place, on the Sarjapur Road. This place surely gives a feel of Goa via there infrastructure, the dress code, the bar setup, the Goan delicacies.. Booked a table via the Eazy diner, and our seats were booked and blocked by the team. We did not have to wait even a minute before we were taken to our seats. First we waited to order via the QR given, but later we got to know that the QR was to check the menu and the ordering was supposed to be done directly via the staff. Bopan (the staff) who assisted us with the menu, was patient and pleasant. Hermmas - the restaurant manager, a pleasant and very helpful person. When I was discussing in regards to a birthday celebration of my niece with one of the staff, this person Mr. Hermmas came over without any hesitation and started to assist and help and assured to take care of things there. It’s always great to be in a place where we as customers are treated well, even though not like the king 😂. Hats off to the team there. Well managed, neatly maintained, variety of spreads, childrens play area, a Tatoo artist, a small cup cake Center, all adds up to the very reason of visiting the place again and again. We started with a soup, Warf seafood soup, thick with a nice odour (5/5). Masala fried kalmari (4/5), Butter garlic prawns - the sauce was awesome (5/5), Pork chilly fry - they came with a type of bread which was good (3/5), French fries, Ratatouille Lasagne (3/5), Tandoori chicken - well cooked (4/5), Murgh malai kabab - Amazing and the chutney green n red tasted so well (5/5), Hakka noodles (3/5), Thai green curry with rice (4/5), Poached peeking chicken, sushi Spicy Tuna (5/5), Sushi Scallion tempura (5/5), Tandoori roti (4/5), Lamb Rogan josh - a little salty (3/5), Butter chicken (5/5) , Friend rice chicken (3/5). Along with this we also ordered Sangria pitcher and Caprioska pitcher. Overall we had a great experience, it’s a bit expensive, but worth the try. This place also has the live music. Guy, if you haven’t visited then this is a sure shot add on to your bucket list. 😀
