We visited this restaurant for a corporate team dinner on a Monday evening, and it turned out to be a great choice. Since it was a quiet evening, we had the entire place to ourselves. However, we discovered that they didn’t have a table large enough to accommodate 20 people. But the staff was quick to assist us and arrange a bigger table, which we greatly appreciated.
The overall ambiance of the place was pleasant. The only downside was the excessive red lighting. While it was initially funky and nice, it became a bit annoying after a while. The music was good, but the DJ didn’t arrive until 9 pm. I suppose it’s better on weekends.
The food and bar menu offered a wide variety of options to cater to everyone on the team, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. They had a couple of special offers running when we visited, a 1+1 deal on Indian alcohols or a 30% discount on the entire bill. We opted for the latter, but it felt a bit like a scam. Most of the menu prices were already inflated by 20-30% compared to other restaurants in Bangalore, so the overall bill ended up being around 1200-1400 per person, which is the average for most pubs in the city.
Parking was limited, we didn’t check for valet parking. However, two-wheeler parking was available in the...
Read moreThe place is very very much Over-hyped. You don't even get a seat even if you prebook it through swiggy/Zomato OR if you directly walk-in there, especially during the weekends. There is a mandatory cover charge for entry - before entering the pub and still they don't get you a table to sit - as per your booking, as it is too crowdy and no space at all.. The food was Okay and there are NOT many options in starters or food - but it was decent and good enough. Drinks were good (cocktails/mocktails and beers). The ambience is decent, they don't have a lot of space to accomodate people to stand as well as to sit or to dance in the floor. It's bit clumsy at places on the upper floors and on the ground the dance floor is small so it's very cluttered when all of the people are there - dancing and hooting. Parking space is not at all proper and also, i must tell you - its too much costly.. for food and drinks. So if you prefer costly food - keeping in mind the ambience part - go ahead. But i will Not recommend my people and subscribers to go there at all. Service is very very slow and poor.. you need to nudge, poke and call waiters again and again reminding them for your order, that you had placed.
Not a great place I don't know why it's...
Read moreI will start off with the ambience, which, in a few words, is simply out of this world. Reminds me of Tron, if you ask me. Absolutely awesome! Unmatchable, IMO.
Food is okay, and quantity is on the lower side. Taste wise, its nothing to write home about nor is it worthy of harsh criticism either.
A peculiar point about the menu offerings- the menu offerings and items were much, much lesser than what has been put up on their Zomato page. When we asked a staff about this, we simply got a reply that since it as Saturday special night, the menu would be different and limited.
Service is where this place gets hammered badly, which in turn, makes the overall experience a bit jittery. The attendants are not very responsive, and it takes a fair bit of time and effort to get their attention and get things done, be it ordering for food, displaying the Zomato gold ID, asking for the bill, etc. Its not that they don't have sufficient staff, that they have in plenty, at least from what i could observe, just that too many folks are busy doing too many things at a time. This is particularly relevant considering they levy a hefty service charge.
Would i recommend this place? Well, yes, but only after providing a...
