This Jayanagar outlet is a complete fraud scene. I placed an order at 9:18 PM on 15th of May. The website communicates approximately 60 minutes of delivery. These people have delayed the delivery so much that my final order came at 11 PM after three calls and Craving, and waiting for it. All the three calls false commitments were given that the order is on the way they have booked the ride and one call. I was told that the system is not working excuses, excuses

At 11:05pm (15th may) when I took the first bite of my cheesecake, I felt there is something wrong. It was stinking upon reaching out to the jar sticker. I noticed the expiry date of 16th May, which was one hour away. Manufacturing date is 13th may 2024.

Not only day, do horrible wrong commitments, false promises. They also play with your health by providing four day old stale desserts.

I have all proof’s to prove that it was stale and it could cause food poisoning, or any other trauma to any person.

What we put in our stomach is up to us. Now in the end, after me calling and complaining and fighting so much, they finally say that they will send me a refund within seven days.

Of course, we should not forget the recent death of that little child by eating rotten Cake on her birthday and a family relatives falling sick.

This was definitely my last order from this particular outlet, careful...

I have been a regular customer of Theobroma in Colaba, Mumbai.

This was a horrible experience. This branch sent me a cake with rotten strawberries all over it. When I called to complain, the customer service professional was least bothered in inquiring with their own staff, or even acknowledging the mishap on their part. She kept saying their products are fresh. I was not even asked to share any pictures of the cake, or for my order type or number. Clearly showing 0 interest in taking ownership for a bad quality stale product.

Mistakes happen but this is not a professional way to resolve them. I was told they donot issue refunds but only offer replacements.

Certainly, after this dulling experience, I don't want any replacement from this place.

I was told that since I ordered through a "third party service", Zomato, I need to resolve the issue with them.

Zomato in turn informed me that it is the product that is faulty and is the brand's concern to resolve. Zomato eventually gave me back 50% of the payment for a product that went straight to the bin.

Disgusting customer attitude.
