Let me start by saying that I've been dining at this place since 2014 . And I've seen the owners, chefs and staffs change over time. Yet everything was still good with the food, until my last few visits I've seen the quality and quantity of food drop down steep.(FYI prices have increased drastically which wasn't worth the portions) But yesterday was the worst experience of all. I travelled for about 60km up and down in dense traffic to go have a nice lunch here. Reached & waited for an hour for them to re-open at 5 PM. Finally ordered what I usually do. (Took awhile to make the newbie waiter understand my order.) He returns with the Chinese barbecue chicken starter which I think was awful to taste and the chicken so over boiled has lost its taste leaving behind only a very rough texture of unchewable rubber like meat. Then the chilli pork arrives which I suggested to be semi-gravy but was made into a very watery curry which had no taste but at all. The tingmo (Tibetan steam bread) was very hard and seemed to be a couple of days old straight from the fridge to my table. And lastly the pork chilli garlic noodles was finally edible. Not great but it still was the first meal of my day. While clearing the bill I tell the guy at the counter that the food has lost its taste and the quality has gone for a toss, and he says "ok". I used to love this place and suggested it to many of my friends and families. now I'm going to do the opposite. My journey with TMK ends here, because now it's just another kitchen. For people who are new here won't find the difference yet but when you do, feel free to copy paste my review and save the efforts cus it ain't worth it. However there is another tibetan restaurant right next to this one towards forum looks good from the outside much more vibrant, less dramatic staircase and better food I'm assuming since it was crowded with alot of happy north-eastern and...

Read moreThe attitude of the staff is so arrogant one is reminded about how customer was treated in.government run hotels
They will not give green chillies as green chillies are banned by Tibetan law to served as small slices on the eating table.
The restaurant staff refused to serve the food and they said their job is only to bring the food from kitchen to table
Water was not served and when it got over one had to scream to get the same
The chicken noodles was bland, tasteless and sad
The Thai spicy chicken curry was neither Thai or spicy....The chicken pieces were hard and some of them had a crispy feel....obviously roast chicken put in hot water and then.in curry
The chicken fried rice and soup was passable....
It effort to get vinegar or the black.sauce....not mention the non availability of finely slices green.chillies in vinegar
In short a real sad pathetic experience and that too keeping the photo of the Honorable Dalai Lama
I suppose the arrogance comes from. The fact there are no good Tibetan food options in.Koramangala
Humble request.... When do business keeping the picture of Dalai Lama... learn a bit of empathy and politeness from him.....and learn to treat the customer with care....and remember you will not lose anything if you give finely sliced pieces of green chillies
Sad is...
