Its ironic that I was just telling my family at the table that Plan B is my provides great dining experience but what happened on Tuesday 10th August 2021 was extremely disappointing, tasteless and will forever ruin my experience of dining at any of their branches.

Considering the lock down restrictions I visited this restaurant at 8:20. I had called the restaurant to check if they were taking in dine in customers or not. At the entrance the Rude manager Mr. Maharaj asked us to place the entire order in one go since they had to close the kitchen and vacate the place by 10 PM. We agreed and they gave us the table. As instructed we placed the order at one go. The food was brought to us in moderately quick timing. There was one order where the waiters didn't know to distinguish between 2 burgers we had ordered, they wasted 10 minutes of our limited time just to confirm which burger belonged to whom. As we were casually enjoying out food, Maharaj made his way to our table at 9:10 pm and asked us if we could pay our bill so that we they could close the cash counter for the day. We requested for sometime to get done with eating our food but No, Mr. Ravi entered the picture with his snapping fingers and rude tone telling us "it would be better for both the restaurant and us to pay and vacate" this really ticked us off and we were not happy with the way we were being treated. We had a look at the bill and were educated that there was a service charge on the same. We are law abiding citizens and as per law of the country, we are aware that paying service charges is at the discretion of the customer and going by how shameless and pathetic the service was, we were not agreeing to pay the same. We all went to plan B because its Tuesday and they have a 50% off in chicken wings. We informed the manager Mr. Ravi to waive off the service charges. the Shameless Manager Ravi told us that he would price the bill with the regular menu prices. That was the straw that broke camels back for us. We quite obviously expressed our agitation at the management and only then did he waive off the service charges.

They ruined a family meeting with absolutely pathetic service and shameless attitude. Going by all the reviews on Zomato, I see that this behaviour is a regularly occurring instance. I understand the original owners of Plan B have sold the brand to VRO group. Its a shame that such a well established business entity is losing its brand value in the hands of people like Mr. Ravi and Maharaj. Extremely disappointed. I vouch to never step into any Plan B outlets going forward and hope my review helps others to know the reality of this...

This incident happened on 05/08/2022. As my friend and I entered the place we were charged a cover charge of Rs. 1,500/- which we paid. Food and music was ok and the dance floor was a lot of fun. As we were about to leave the waiter came to us with a bill of around 6k. We were not reminded of the cover charge nor it was mentioned on the bill and we ended up paying the whole amount. After a minute or so we realised it and asked the waiter for the cover charge refund. He told us to approach the manager. As we approached him and were calmly explaining the situation to him (he was a short, clean shaven man with white shirt) other employees started crowding around us. He smirked and said that’s it’s our problem now since we cannot do anything about it. We were appalled by his response and all the other employees were just laughing at us. For this condescending response I informed them if the issue doesn’t get resolved here with a simple refund of Rs. 1,500/- I’ll take them to consumer court. At this he started saying ‘take us there first and then we’ll see’. Now the manager took on a threatening stance with us as more employees started crowding around us. I was genuinely scared at this point but still had the courage to say that I’ll not leave this place till this matter gets resolved. Now the manager asks us the take Rs. 1,500/- worth of drinks. We said ok to this and approached the bar. Here there was a man (he had a moustache which was curled on both ends) was being condescending and rude and my friend lost his cool and raised his voice. This man calls for the bouncers to come and ‘take care of us’. At this point I take out my phone and start recording and this is when they gave the cash of Rs. 1,500/- with abuses hurled onto us from these employees. This was my first such horrible experience in Bangalore after being here for more than 7 years! How can they cheat and threaten their customers this way?
