1, Hygienic place with just ample sit-in and parking facility, but consistently average taste. Self service is okay, both Dine-in and take out service is slow, disorganised, with complete lack of order sequence and monitoring mechanism. Last few experiences especially take out has taken more than one hour for 4 masala dosa parcel. My observation is the gentleman managing dosa counter has his own way of prioritizing orders and will never pay attention to demands from the parcel counter. Even reporting to the management has no significant change yet. I don't think they value customer satisfaction and implement customer feedback. I have seen them backing their employees and salvaging the situation, first step in the journey to downfall. Staff at billing counter and parcel counter are energetic and resourceful. but victims of bad management Location is near to bmtc bus stop and grocery shops and advantage for floating customers Food quality has declined by 60% with reference to their own quality an year ago. Tried Idly, Vada and MD, all of them tasted average. Vada seemed like burnt, MD was thick and lacked crispness, surprisingly idly tasted below average. Both Chutney and sambar over last few visits has been stale and not tasty at all.
Wish the management will consider the observations as points to address for better sustenance and to offer better service to customers.
I suppose with Adigas next door in new avatar will put them to better competition and if things don't change very quick, it will take a toll and we would like to see them...
Read moreThe food was good. But service was literary worst. Decided never going to have food from there anymore because of the service person.I and my friends went to have food there. After we decided what to order we called the person who takes the order, but he did not come near to our table and he was showing action from a long distance and telling us to keep reading the menu. After a few minutes, he took the order and gave us a glass to drink water. but those glasses were dirty so we just told him to replace the glass cuz those are dirty. He came and changed the glass and those glasses were also the same dirty as those previous ones. So we decided not to drink in that bottle. After food, he gave as bill and came for card payment. My bill was 690₹ and while entering that amount onto the payment machine he asked me how much to add? (cuz of his behaviors I was already decided not to give him tip) I told him to just type what is there on the bill. He typed and he started asking me how you are going to deal with him? Did I ask what deal? He said tip. I said him I'm not going to give any tips. But he started asking me and he told me you came to the service room so you should pay the tip. But I told him, I came to the service room that's why I'm paying more than the people who eat at the self-service area. He started giving an angry stare at me. I and friends literally got irritated with his behavior and decided never to go there again and never suggest anyone...
Read moreYesterday I had the opportunity to have lunch at Udupi Upahar Veg, Kanakapura Road. I tried Pongal and it is really yummy and reasonably priced only Rs. 40. My table mate was having Dhal Kichdi which looked very enticing which I want to try next time as this time I was looking for onion-free lunch! Prices are lower for self-service. They also have a small air-conditioned dining area.
The restaurant is easily seen and very close to Vajarahalli Metro Station and KSIT college. You can find many engineering students having their lunch. There was not much waiting and there was ample seating available even during peak hour as people come, eat and quickly leave! There is a small general Rest Room available.
There is an ice-cream parlour and coffee point. You can find South Indian, North Indian and Chinese vegetarian delicacies here.
Overall, a good place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner when you...
