Tucked away on 21, 1st Main Rd, 4th Block in Kumara Park West, Bengaluru, this charming little eatery offers a delightful taste of Karnataka through its authentic tiffin items, perfect for a quick snack while exploring the city. This street-side stall, although modest in size, stands out for its vibrant atmosphere and delicious food, allowing patrons to enjoy their meal al fresco, right on the bustling streets.

The setup is simple and functional, with a clean counter displaying an array of freshly prepared tiffin choices. The air is filled with the inviting aroma of spices and cooking batter, drawing in both locals and tourists. The menu, while concise, showcases a perfect blend of traditional Karnataka flavors with popular items like crispy dosas, fluffy idlis, and spicy vadas, all served on eco-friendly plates with a side of homemade chutneys and steaming sambar.

What makes this spot particularly appealing is the authenticity of its offerings coupled with the hustle and bustle of street dining. Each bite of their renowned ‘Benne Masala Dosa’ is a mix of crunchy textures and rich flavors, topped off with a dollop of butter that melts in your mouth.

Service is brisk and efficient, managed by friendly staff who serve with a smile, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience despite the crowd. Extremely wallet-friendly, this eatery is a must-visit for anyone seeking a genuine taste of Karnataka’s culinary delights in a casual, open-air setting. A stop here is not just a meal; it’s an experience that immerses you in the local culture...

This is a buzzing eatery in the bylanes of Sheshadripuram. They have a variety of dosas with pudi and other breakfast items. It's a small eatery and has no seating facility.

There is water for washing hands. You need to pay first and then collect your food. Only cash payment is accepted. No option for online/UPI payment.

They use Nandini ghee and the flavour of ghee is quite evident in every dosa because they use it generously.

I also felt that the pricing is a tad bit high. We ordered onion dosa and khaali dosa.

Unexpectedly, the khaali dosa had potato palya in it and the onion dosa had maddening amounts of pudi. If you ask me, the pudi is just too much in an onion dosa and due to this, I might not order anything with pudi again. The pudi is a little on the sweeter side with coarsely ground spices and dals.

They provide 2 types of chutneys, one is coconut chutney, which is quite good and has optimum spice levels while the other is a mild tomato chutney.

If you order any pudi dosa and eat with the chutney, the flavours of pudi with ghee used will dominate your palate while the chutneys are barely noticeable in the combination.

I've given 3 stars because I really don't know if I will visit the place again or not. This was my first visit due to the hype it has and I wasn't fully satisfied with their offering. It's not too bad also because they make everything fresh and dosa is super hot when they...

had been hearing lot of news about this dose join in sheshadripuram and finally decided to try it out. so one fine evening I decided to try this restaurant and I thought it would be the perfect time as I had skipped my lunch and was hungry and also it was a perfect evening for a great dose. so I went forward and ordered bath masala in which a flavoured rice is added along with the Palya in a masala dosa. this is usually special in the food street of cubbonpet and VV Puram. the bath masala look extremely tempting as it was evenly and slowly roasted to perfection. the dosa was sprinkled with spicy powder also known as gunpowder in the local language or chutney podi and then aloo Palya and lemon flavoured rice was the stuffing. it was extremely tasty and feeling as it is equal to a dose and a serving of flavoured rice also known as chaittranna. then went ahead and ordered the onion roast and it took a long time as the onion on dosa takes a longer time to cook on a low flame. the dosa looked very crispy and had a rich red colour as they had sprinkled the chutney Pudi over the dose. the dose was extremely tasty and the combination of crispy dosa with the semi roasted juicy onions and a spicy chutney is not just food but an experience.

both the bath masala and the onion dosa are extremely tasty...

Hey theIt's an amazing street food joint that serves some of the most delicious dishes! I usually don't write reviews for street food, but Umang Dosa Point was just too good to not share my experience. They have an extensive menu with approximately 29 dishes to choose from. However, my personal favorites were the Pudi plain Dosa, kesaribath, and the ghee pudi idli. The flavors were just on point and left me wanting more! Another great thing about Umang Dosa Point is their operating hours. They start serving at 7 in the morning and go on till 11 at night. So whether you're craving some tasty street food for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this place has got you covered. However, I must warn you that the evening hours can get quite crowded and there's no seating arrangement. So my advice would be to bring your own vehicle and enjoy your meal in the comfort of your car or 2-wheeler. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Umang Dosa Point and I highly recommend giving it a try. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you later. See you there!

I have come to this outlet of Umesh for the first time. Early morning for breakfast we reached here and it was a great experience. A treat. Since we reached early hours of the day everything was very fresh and flavourful. Without tasting the Sambhar, I could have a rich feel of grounded spices just by placing the sambhar bowl on the table. And guys what to talk about the taste of sambhar, it is heavenly delicious. Making sambhar for a south indian cook is like the back of the hand. But still there is something that turns a yummy sambhar into a delightfully unmatchable one. The balance of sour and sweet taste and perfect consistency produce this result, which you can enjoy at Umesh, Kumara park. The rest of the items were equally great. We tried chow chow bhat, idli, dosa and sambhar vada. The owner of this outlet Mr. Chandrakant is a very sweet natured smiling person, who very strongly believes and follows the quality and hygiene standards.
