A Truly Heartwarming Stay – Felt Just Like Home

We had the pleasure of staying at your hotel this month, and it was nothing short of wonderful. Every moment we spent here was filled with warmth, care, and genuine hospitality.

Room & Facilities: Our room was always spotlessly clean, fresh, and consistently up to our expectations. It was the perfect place to relax after long days and felt like a true home away from home.

Food & Service: The food was absolutely delicious, and the service throughout the hotel was exceptional. Every team member—from reception to room service—was prompt, professional, and always wore a smile.

Reception & Room Service: What stood out was the constant availability of the reception and room service teams. Unlike some places we’ve stayed before, here we always felt supported and taken care of at any time of day.

Extraordinary Hospitality & Inclusivity: What touched us deeply was the inclusive environment created by the hotel. We were so happy to see differently abled staff proudly working, wearing special badges to help guests identify them. This level of inclusion was inspiring and heartwarming.

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Umesh, who was always approachable, incredibly kind, and helped us whenever needed. At the restaurant, Sachin was also very attentive, always greeting us with kindness and efficiency.

Our Welcome Experience: From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Akash and Salman Khan, whose hospitality and helpful nature made us feel instantly at ease. They set the tone for a great stay ahead.

Restaurant & Staff: We spent most of our time either in the room or at the restaurant, and it’s safe to say the restaurant became our favorite spot. The staff there were simply incredible. They worked tirelessly, often going the extra mile to meet our and our baby’s specific meal requirements, despite their busy schedules.

A special mention to Sujata and Sunny, who not only served us with care but also took the time to explain local places and activities we could explore. Their guidance was genuinely helpful and appreciated.

Shivani was incredibly sweet with our daughter, and our child warmed up to her right away. Senti, Ritwika, and Salman were also consistently supportive and friendly, making our meals enjoyable and stress-free.

Personal Attention from the Chefs: We were also touched by the personal care shown by the chefs, who took the time to ensure our needs—especially those of our toddler—were always met. It was such a thoughtful gesture that truly made a difference.

Gratitude to the Entire Team: While we may not have been able to name and thank every individual, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every single soul at the hotel. Every staff member contributed to making our stay memorable, and we are truly grateful for the warmth and effort that went into every interaction.

Thank you for creating such a welcoming, inclusive, and family-friendly environment. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

Hard to even know where to start when reviewing the Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel. Let me write first about the style of the hotel, which is truly impressive. Outside of places like the Shinta Mani in Siem Reap which is part of the Bensley collection and boutique sub-brands of major chains like the SO Sofitel in Bangkok with its heavy Christian Lacroix's influence, I have rarely seen a chain hotel with this attention to detail in terms of style. It starts in the nicely-sized lobby, where your eyes are drawn to the height of the environment through details like the pile of old suitcases behind the main desk. The use of black and dark gray receives welcomed splashes of color here and there, and the constant presence of horse-related items ties everything together with the Race Course nearby, providing a well-conceived unifying motif. It is classy without being somber, which is the same feeling one gets in the rooms. There, the presence of plush furniture with touches of velour softens the more industrial design suggested by the use of black and dark gray tones, given the guest a feeling of relaxation and understated elegance.

The service is absolutely impeccable. One has a feeling that the staff genuinely cares for your well being and it is not simply conducting perfunctory conversation. If you are part of Marriott's Bonvoy program, things are even better, with a list of additional services and discounts available. I have oscillated between Platinum and Gold levels in Bonvoy over the years but I do not think I was ever treated so well elsewhere when I had a Platinum membership in comparison to the warm and professional service I got at this hotel in the lower Gold level that I currently have.

The food was excellent both with the in-room dining options (which were surprisingly affordable) and in the excellent buffet restaurant. I had a chance to try the breakfast, lunch, and dinner settings in the buffet (during different days, of course...) and the many, many offerings were wonderfully prepared. Again, service felt individualized throughout the delicious meal.

The pool was large enough to do some laps and the gym was very well-equipped, open 24 hours per day. During regular hours one could also find trainers to help guests. Keeping up with the trend, Spa services were wonderful. It was easy to scheduled a massage, which was expertly delivered. Prices were again surprisingly affordable.

The location is very good and different businesses and points of interest are easily accessible (at least, as accessible as the crazy Bangalore traffic will allow). Interestingly, during a business meeting I had a chance to talk with two other people who were coincidentally staying at the same hotel and we immediately shared our amazement with the quality of the installation and services we were receiving.

Next time in Bangalore I will certainly stay here. This is a new hotel that definitely deserves to be in your list when visiting the...

Lap of Luxury in the Old city

The Majestic area of Bangalore - and the neighborhoods around - have always suffered from the lack of a fine luxury hotel that could relieve visitors from the chaos and commotion of the old city. This paradise comes as a welcome relief and teleports the guests into a different world. From the minute you step in, you feel like you are in a different world far removed from the one outside the walls. The property itself comes fitted with very stylish furnishings and decor to make it feel like a higher branch of Marriott(like the Ritz carlton or JW) for half the price or more. And the High quality Hospitality can easily compete with what you might find in any of these uber luxury chains!

LOCATION: Excellent location in the old city and right next to the Bangalore Turf Club with spectacular views of the Race course(and the horses!) You are stone’s throw away from the MAJESTIC station/bus stand and a quick ride away from all key points of interest

DINE + DRINK: They have a very stylish Bar - cutely named R Bar -in the lobby level that has a nice dinks list and fine snacks to go with. The Executive lounge is great too with wonderful Happy hours in the evening(if you are an elite member). The food in LUSH restaurant is delicious and breakfast comes with a mindblowing spread of Wide range of Indian dishes and International cuisine! This is a Breakfast to wake up for!!!!

ROOM: I stayed in 820, which was a lovely SUITE, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Marvellous view of the Race course that is so different from views you will get anywhere else in this flat city ; SIZE: Huge and spacious SUITE room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stylish bathroom with a Stand in shower as well as a Chic Bathtub (and bath salts/foam); TOILETRIES: Excellent spa quality cosmetics from high end INARA brand

FACILITIES: Since they were brand new, they were still getting their gym ready (which is supposed to be one of the best in the city as per the Front office folks!) But even the temporary Gym was wonderful and came with good range of free weights and machines! Nice Swimming pool on the 3rd floor perfect for a great swim.

SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all my needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to KIRAN at the front office and UTSAH the rooms division manager, who made the Arrival experience refreshingly delightful.

HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Big Plasma TV screen dishing out dozens of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies and a wide variety of entertainment in...

Pros: - Clean modern rooms - Beautiful building - Friendly, helpful staff - Incredible views of Bangalore and racecourse - Fantastic room service food and drinks - Multiple restaurants on-site - Complementary water bottles upon request - Easy access to taxis, Tuk-Tuks, Ubers - Clearly putting in effort into security, if you're concerned about that Cons: - WiFi is a little spotty sometimes My stay at the Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel was fantastic from start to finish. I travelled to India in November for a friend's wedding. It was my first time in the country. When I arrived at the hotel (3am) the staff was friendly and welcoming, and they made sure I had everything I needed at check in. They went above and beyond, handing me a sparkling beverage while I waited at the desk. There was even had a plate of small desserts waiting for me in the room along with a handwritten note welcoming me. My room was excellent. Clean, spacious, modern, and comfortable. Great view of the racecourse and surrounding area. Four unopened bottles of water stocked on arrival, and more were provided with just a phone call or a visit to the front desk. The hotel has a number of places to eat on the premises, including upscale bar/restaurant, and a little pastry shop. The room service menu was massive, and everything I ordered was delicious. They had food options available 24 hours a day, which was great for a jet lagged traveler. All the basic little things you'd expect from a good hotel were there. Decent, free WiFi. Various toiletries, soaps, conditioner, lotion, and dental care items were stocked in the bathroom. I didn't use them, but there was a hair dryer and bathrobe, too. The power plugs in the wall didn't fit my devices, but the front desk was happy to loan me a US-to-India charging adapter for USB devices (no charge). When you want to go out and explore the city, it's as simple as walking out front and either calling an Uber, or chatting with the auto-rickshaw / tuk-tuk drivers lined up on the street. If you're a foreigner, just remember to get cash INR when you get into the country. Overall, this was one of the best hotel stays I've had in years - and I travel quite frequently for work, so I guess that's saying something. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Bangalore.
