One of the 3 outlets on the Railway parallel lane on Kumara Park. They are known for the South Indian breakfast items. The outlet only accepts cash and no UPI payments. Did not find any menu or rate cards that could be visibly available. The cashier seemed very unfriendly. Quite a crowd in the weekend but the service was quick. The Idlis were served with 2 types of chutneys, one prepared with green chilli and another with red. The serving was not generous enough though. The texture of the Idlis was a bit gooey but the taste was fine. Preferred the green chutney to the red. The masala dosa was smeared with ghee which though enhanced the taste but overshadowed the actual taste of the Dosa itself. This was again served with 2 types of chutneys. The texture of the Dosa was a bit chewy. The bath masala dosa was stuffed with lemon rice. Though the texture (obviously) remains the same, the combo with the rice was good. The aloo palya in the masala dosa or the bath masala dosa was very little but felt just enough. The onion pudi dosa was fine but the pudi was a tad sweet for my liking. The usage of onion could have been a bit more generous in the onion dosa. The coffee was too light but the taste was alright. The price is a bit on the higher side due to the usage of ghee. There's seating available on the 1st floor if you prefer to sit and eat the food after collecting it from the counter. Else most prefer to stand out on the footpath and eat. Parking for 2 or 4 wheelers are on the roadside.

Umesh Refreshments: Where Coffee Gets Artistic Umesh Refreshments in Malleshwaram isn't just your average coffee spot. Sure, their filter coffee hits the mark every time, bold and comforting like a hug from a grandma. But here, the caffeine comes with a side of creativity. The coffee naker, a true coffee artist, transforms decoction into mini masterpieces. Forget your latte hearts and basic swirls – prepare to be surprised by intricate patterns. It's like sipping your coffee with a side of Instagram-worthy visuals. But coffee isn't the only star. I've heard raves about the masala dosa, bursting with flavor and crispness. Their savory vadas are fluffy clouds soaking up delicious sambar, and the idlis are a delightful explosion of spice. Umesh Refreshments is more than just a place to refuel. It's an experience, a canvas where coffee dances with artistry and every bite promises a burst of flavor. So, go beyond your usual cup and let Umesh surprise you – with a frothy masterpiece and a meal that warms your soul (and taste buds). Pros: Amazing coffee with creative latte art Delicious South Indian cuisine Friendly and warm atmosphere Cons: Can get crowded during peak hours Limited seating area Overall: A must-visit for coffee lovers and anyone seeking a touch of artistic charm in their cup (and their plate).

Umesh Refreshments UDP in Sheshadripuram is a must-visit if you’re a fan of authentic, ghee-soaked dosas! The amount of ghee they use in their dosas is generous, and it makes every bite absolutely delicious. You can really taste the love and tradition in their cooking. One thing I really appreciate about this place is their use of plant-based plates, which is a great way to reduce waste and be more eco-friendly. The entire menu is vegetarian, and they do it so well that you won’t miss meat at all. There’s almost always a crowd here, which speaks volumes about the quality of their food. Just a heads-up—when I asked, they mentioned they don’t accept UPI payments, so make sure you have cash on hand. Located in the bustling Sheshadripuram area, Umesh Refreshments is pretty easy to find. It’s a short walk from the Sheshadripuram Circle, and you can easily spot it with the steady stream of people heading in for a meal. If you’re in the area and craving some traditional South Indian food, Umesh Refreshments is definitely worth a visit!

Adarsh Hamilton, Bangalore – A Second Home After my exceptional stay last year at Adarsh Hamilton, there was no doubt in my mind that I would return to reexperience their unparalleled hospitality—and once again, they exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was welcomed back not just as a guest, but as a member of their extended family. The familiar faces of Sushant, the ever-gracious General Manager, Dipak, the vigilant and caring security manager, and Harish, whose warm welcome once again set the perfect tone for my stay, made me feel immediately at home. There is something uniquely comforting about returning to a place where you're remembered and treated with such genuine care and respect. The consistency in service, attention to detail, and personal touches reflect the hotel's exceptional standards. It’s rare to find a property where the staff has remained loyal over the years, which speaks volumes about the management and the positive environment they’ve nurtured. As with my previous visit, cleanliness and comfort were faultless. The rooms are immaculate, the environment serene, and the service seamless. Whether I was enjoying a quiet moment in my room or dining in their restaurant, every experience was marked by quality and thoughtfulness. What stands out the most is the sense of safety and peace I feel while staying here—something that’s deeply valuable, especially when traveling far from home. I could relax and focus on myself, knowing I was in good hands. Two days before I was due to leave Bangalore, I unfortunately fell ill. In a moment that could have been overwhelming in a foreign city, Dipak, the security manager, immediately stepped in and accompanied me to the hospital. His calm presence, care, and genuine concern made all the difference. He stayed with me, ensured I was properly attended to, and followed up to make sure I was well. That act of kindness speaks volumes about the level of dedication and humanity this hotel embodies. Adarsh Hamilton is not just a hotel—it's my sanctuary in Bangalore. I am once again deeply thankful to the team for making my stay so memorable, and I will continue to recommend this hotel wholeheartedly to anyone visiting the city. The warmth of the staff, the impeccable service, and the overall experience remain unmatched. Thank you for welcoming me back. Joseph Suede From...

I had the pleasure of staying at Adarsh Hamilton for two nights in November 2024 while attending a family function in Bengaluru. The location of the hotel is very central and convenient, making it an excellent choice for travelers.

The entrance adorned with pretty poinsettias set a welcoming tone, and the lobby impressed me with its elegant flower arrangements, comfortable seating, and spotless washrooms—an attention to detail that speaks volumes about the hotel’s standards.

As for the rooms, they were clean and well-maintained, with all amenities in perfect working order. Although we initially faced a WiFi issue in one of the rooms, it was resolved promptly, ensuring a smooth stay.

The complimentary breakfast was delightful, offering a wide variety of dishes spanning South Indian to North Indian cuisines. However, I did encounter an issue with the sambar being served cold, and though the server eventually brought it after some delay, it required intervention from the manager to expedite.

The restaurant itself is elegantly designed, creating a perfect ambiance for meals. Both lunch and dinner were delicious, with an array of flavors that truly stood out. However, I felt the cocktails were underwhelming, as the liquor quantity seemed quite minimal, affecting the overall experience.

Overall, my stay at Adarsh Hamilton was a blend of elegant hospitality and delicious cuisine, with only a few minor hiccups...
