One Sports Lounge — Restaurant in Bidhannagar

Visited this place for seeing a screening of Football match. The place looked very beautiful from outside, but the inside was not as beautiful as outside . Though they have lot of different varieties of seating arrangements. We were seated in a partition of 2 seater place which was very comfortable in viewing the screening of match. The ambience was ok for my liking. The DJ was quite good and was playing really amazing songs. Though the music was too loud for even talking to each other was difficult . Coming to their service, I would say the service part was very lame and dumb bunch of people. The steward were not even aware of their own menu, they were telling me a fish dish as a vegetarian dish. After which I told them to confirm with their chef and then they confirmed its fish and not a vegetarian dish. Its basics that you train your steward about the menu or if they don’t know they can ask someone else too address to the customers who know about the same. There were 2 stewards who had no idea about the menu. The dish of fish which we ordered was too oily and dint have mashed potatoes and the sauce which was told to us was white sauce, it wasn’t white in color and it actually lacked any sauce in it . I finally told them a continental dish can’t have so much of oil and if it lacked everything in plate how is one supposed to eat it. Their green Chilli chicken was amazing though and had good big chunks of chicken pieces. We really enjoyed it and ordered one more plate of it . (Highly Recommended) Their cheese garlic bread was very nicely done and tasted very well. Coming to their bill, when service charge is not compulsory, I don’t understand why to restaurants put that in their bill . They had applied the service charge which they had not mentioned clearly that it’s a service charge, after asking them about the same they said its service charge. Overall experience was alright nothing very great to be honest . Though would go back to the place if ever again it would be just for their Music and Green chilli chicken. All...

The fish items are highly recommended as they maintained the quality with good amount of thick fillets in fish fry and fish Kabiraji. The fish was so good that it was just melting in our mouth. Koraishutir Kochuri and Alur dom was delicious too. Sitting in a pub during puja days with close ones having drinks - hookah - food, specially with bengali delicacies is something great.

Coming to the drinks part, both mocktails and cocktails were well made. Loved the Paantini, the fusion of martini with a flavor of paan in it needs special mention.

Pathetic experience here, while just coming out of the bar. The restaurant seems to be doing strategic trics to take away customer's money. The bill was created with the GST and Service Charges on top of it. As the drinks and food bill was high, this fake Service Charges came pretty high. We just requested to give this back. We suggested to share our own "tips" in replacement. The restaurant attendants were not helpful and even then manager came and mentioned that nothing can be done. This was the worst of my experience in our own Sector 5. We have enjoyed and celebrated in Sector 5 for last 15 years, but never felt someone doing this to us. It's really sad to see a pub (who want to celebrate sports) do this to us. I wouldn't recommended anyone who is a sports or drinks lover, to come here. The food quality or attendance is a different question altogether, but their behavior is like stealing!! I hope people will judge before...
