A Feast of Asian Delights at Momo I Am
Momo I Am lives up to its name and then some, offering a culinary journey that is both authentic and exciting. The food captured in this album is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients, vibrant flavors, and excellent presentation, making it an absolute must-visit for any Asian cuisine enthusiast. The Star Dumplings and Savory Mains The array of Momos showcases the restaurant's namesake specialty. The images hint at a masterclass in dumpling preparation:
1. Chicken Chilli Garlic: This dish appears as a comforting, hearty bowl, suggesting a delightful blend of tender chicken, a subtle garlic punch, and a warming chilli heat, all immersed in a flavorful, clear broth with fresh greens. It looks like the perfect soul-soothing meal.
HANGOVER SPICY MOMO: The presentation of this dish suggests a bold, spicy adventure. The momos look perfectly pan-fried or steamed before being smothered in a rich, zesty sauce with Szechuan-style mayo and chili oil, promising a sensational kick that truly lives up to its "hangover" curing name.
3. Momo I am SPECIAL SHITAFALEY: This unique preparation, resembling a stuffed, pan-fried, or kothey-style momo wrapped in a crispy casing, is a showstopper. Served alongside vibrant dipping sauces, it screams specialty—a must-try textural delight that merges a crispy exterior with a savory, juicy filling.
Beyond the dumplings, the main courses and appetizers are equally impressive:
1.Chicken Miso Ramen: Captured beautifully under warm lighting, this ramen bowl is a vision of comfort. The rich, cloudy Miso broth looks deeply savory, complemented by springy noodles, soft-boiled eggs with perfectly jammy yolks, and fresh nori. It promises an authentic, nourishing, and deeply flavorful Japanese experience.
2.Golden Fried Prawn: These prawns are pictured as a perfectly crisp appetizer, golden-brown and served with complementary dips. They appear succulent inside their light, airy coating, offering a classic, irresistible crunch.
Exceptional Desserts and Refreshing Beverages No great meal is complete without a memorable finish, and Momo I Am certainly delivers:
Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream: A truly indulgent classic. The rich, fudgy-looking brownie is served warm, evident from the melted dollops of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of rich chocolate sauce. It’s a flawless combination of warm, cool, soft, and sweet that makes for a comforting end to the meal.
2. Piña Colada: The bright, creamy presentation of the Piña Coladas, served in elegant glasses, highlights a commitment to refreshing, quality cocktails. The drink, likely a perfect blend of coconut cream, pineapple juice, and rum (or a delightful mocktail equivalent), provides a light, tropical contrast to the spicy and savory dishes. Ambiance and Overall Experience.
The overall presentation of the food, especially the warm glow and inviting setup of the Chicken Miso Ramen and Piña Colada shots, suggests a restaurant with a cozy yet chic ambiance. The lighting and wooden accents visible in the background create a warm, intimate vibe that enhances the dining experience. Momo I Am clearly excels at delivering not just great food, but a holistic and memorable Asian dining experience.
Recommendation: From the essential, perfectly crafted momos and deeply flavored ramen to the exceptional prawn appetizer and classic desserts, this album confirms that Momo I Am is a culinary destination that consistently delivers delicious, high-quality, and Instagram-worthy food. Highly...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining here, and tried two of their signature dishes – the Pork Chilli and Pork Shyafaley. Both dishes were a delightful dive into bold, flavorful Himalayan cuisine, and I couldn't have been more satisfied.
Pork Chilli: The Pork Chilli was a perfect balance of spicy, savory, and a bit smoky. The pork was tender with just the right amount of fat to make each bite indulgent but not overwhelming. The spice level was moderately hot, allowing the flavors of the pork and accompanying vegetables to shine through without overpowering the dish. The subtle hint of garlic and ginger, mixed with green chillies, added layers of warmth, while the bell peppers and onions gave a nice crunch. If you’re a fan of bold, spicy flavors, this dish is an absolute must-try!
Pork Shyafaley: This was the standout dish for me. Shyafaley is a Tibetan-style fried meat pie, and the pork filling was incredibly succulent and well-seasoned. The crispy, golden-brown outer pastry was light and flaky, perfectly complementing the juicy, flavorful pork inside. The meat was seasoned with a harmonious blend of spices that gave it depth without being too heavy. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the accompanying dipping sauce added an extra zing to the dish. It’s hearty, comforting, and full of flavor – ideal for those looking for something a little different yet delicious.
Beyond the food, the overall experience at Mom I Am was wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly and made sure we felt welcome from the moment we walked in. The ambience was subtle and cozy, creating a relaxed atmosphere ideal for enjoying a meal. However, the lighting might feel a bit tacky to some, as it can be on the brighter side, which might not suit everyone's taste for a laid-back dining experience.
In addition to their delicious food, Momo I Am offers Korean BBQ sets, where you can grill your food right at the table – a fun and interactive option. Even more exciting is that they will soon start their own brewery, bringing freshly brewed beers to their menu, which will certainly elevate the dining experience.
If you're in the mood for something more relaxed, they also have a separate unit where you can enjoy hookah along with your meal. It’s a great spot to unwind with friends, combining good food and a laid-back vibe.
Overall, Momo I Am in Sector 5 is a fantastic spot for anyone craving authentic Himalayan flavors with a modern twist. Whether you're drawn to their signature Pork Chilli and Shyafaley, want to enjoy some Korean BBQ, or just relax with hookah, this place has something for everyone. Highly recommend for a casual, flavorful meal that will leave you...

A crowd favourite, when it comes to munching on hot and steaming momos, some noodle soup bowls, juicy pork ribs or even on to some quick and flavourful oriental delights, Momo I Am has been a quick stop solution for many of us. Ever since its inception, this chain of restaurant has slowly paved its way to excel in everything that they do. While Momos, Baos and Dimsums are the highlight of the menu they put up to their customers, there is more to what they serve. A quick check of all the sanitary and hygiene precautions and safeguards, this place regards your wellbeing to that of paramount importance.
Starting from regular sanitization of the restaurant, daily temperature checks of all the staff members, proper handling of all the raw materials, entry point hand hygiene and temperature checks, this place ensures that staffs and patrons may enter only if they are asymptomatic and they wear face cover/masks at all times while being inside the restaurant maintaining strict distance norms. In all these chaos and commotion of maintaining physical safety, the quality of the food still remains top notch and utmost care goes into recreating the same flavours and taste profiles, which we may have been acquainted to, while eating prior to the lockdown.
We started with Dry Shitake Oyster Chicken, Dry Sriracha Pepper Chicken, Chicken Bao, Pork Ribs Bao, Marinated Fried Pork, Pork Ribs, SOI 56, Pork Shyapta and Mini Taipao for starters. The Dry Shitake Oyster Chicken came with boneless breasts of chicken ossed with chilli sauce, shitake mushroom, soy and oyster sauce, while the Dry Sriracha Pepper Chicken came had chicken tossed with sriracha, celery and crushed pepper. The Chicken Bao and Pork Ribs Bao, being my eternal favourite, the Chicken Bao had soft and steaming buns stuffed with lettuce, sriracha, chicken, teriyaki, chilli mayo and sesame seeds.
The Pork Ribs Bao had deboned portions of slow cooked pork ribs, which was tossed in plum sauce and spices, and was accompanied with freshly cut apple slices. If you love pork, you simply cannot miss the marinated fried pork comprising of fried portions of tender marinated pork and bell peppers. The Pork Ribs had juicy and succulent pork shortened ribs, which were well marinated and served with homemade plum sauce. For fish lovers, SOI 56 comes with tender portions of fish tossed with tangy homemade sauce, scallion and dried chillies. Graciously devoured, each of these had different taste and aroma, and wooed us all with every single bite.
