𝒀𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒂 𝑹𝒂𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒂 - 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝑰𝒕!! 😎😎 Rang De Basanti Dhaba Goes South...✈️ No, you take it wrong! Basically, I visited "Rang Be Basanti Dhaba" a few days back and got to know that - RDBD has just recently added some of the popular delicacies straight from south Indian cuisine into their new menu! I have been a big fan of RDBD since college days and i love south indian food too, be it their dosas or uttapam i love them all, but never tried beyond this dosas, idly, vada, uttapam and those regular dishes. So, I can't afford to lose this opportunity to try some of the south Indian delicacies which I've never tried before and when the food comes straight from the RDBD kitchen. It would be lit for sure!! ❤️🔥 So, without further ado I've quickly ordered a few dishes from the newly launched menu : 🔸Malabar Prawn Fry (5/5) 🔹Chicken Chettinad (5/5) 🔸Ulta Tawa Parottas (4/5) 🔹Galauti Kebabs (5/5) 🔸Mysore Pak (4.5/5) 🔹Gulkand Kheer (3/5) 🔸Goli Soda Must Try : Malabar Prawn fry & Chicken Cheetinad was the showstopper!! Both dishes were extremely rich in flavors, well cooked and had everything which one can crave for. Even the galauti kebabs were so soft n delicious. I mean if i didn't try them out that day, it would be a big loss for me that i can definitely assure... In dessert, i would definitely suggest you to try their Mysore Pak!! 📍 - RDBD has total 7 outlets and I've been to their Sector 5, Saltlake Outlet which is very close to Collage More. But these dishes will be available at all the outlets which I've confirmed from their manager. 💰Pocket Pinch : 1000 For Two Would be enough for dine in over here Overall it was an amazing experience!!!! 🫶

Rang De Basanti Dhaba, Sector 5 is back with a bang. With revamped outlet and new additions to their menu, our favourite household name, doesn't disappoint with their comeback. They have increased the sitting space by removing certain items from their decor like the famous tractor in the middle of the restuarant, kept very minimalistic and cozy decor and absolutely loved the color and graphitis on the wall. Coming to the menu, they have added few items to their menu like Champaran Meat, Handi Soya Chaap, Pede Wali Lassi and many more. I started with the Lassi which was absolutely delicious. Then for starters, I tried the Non Veg Kebab Platter and Utterly Butterly Chicken Matia Mahal. For mains, there was RDBD Special Handi Chicken, Tawa Biryani, Champaran Meat, Handi Soya Chaap, Dal Makhani and Roti Tokri. For desserts, there was Rooh Afza Tutti Frutti which is also a new addition to the menu. Few points that I would like to mention:- • The Utterly Butterly Chicken Matia Mahal felt a tad dry. • The Champaran Meat has 3 pieces. I mistook the whole garlic for another mutton piece. That one felt disappointing but tastes absolutely heavenly. • The Soya in the chaap felt little undercooked. • The Dal Makhani and Butter Garlic Naan from the tokri tasted absolutely amazing and so did the biryani and handi chicken. Do drop in for a lunch date with your loved ones or to celebrate with your friends in this outlet.

Very very Bad experience... Let me elaborate the whole.. On 20th April 2024 on very very hot day I visited Rang De Basanti dhaba on Em bypass Kolkata. In 41 Degree weather the AC was soo poore that people were sweating & they are using fan in there. The chairs that they are using is just nonsense . I was not feeling comfortable at all. Just imagine you're going to a nice restaurant like RDBD with expensive menu & you find jaaali chair.. The order taking person was not at all helpfull & the service was so poor. As they were no one else for waitresseing except him. So we sat anyhow & ordered food, BTW which quality is really bad. The waiter asked which kind of water so I said normal/regular & usually in the table existing bottles are regular, so I drank from that, the waiter also didn't say anything or brought anything separately. Somehow We ordered food very minimum & when bill came they added 55 for a bottle. But, I didn't ask for any bottle I said. Now the problem starts, they are saying that existing bottles that are there on the table are special. When I asked What you would give me If I had asked for special water ??? They had no answers & after wasting 700 ( Did not order much as the quality was really bad ) I came out very disappointed.. In mind I have decided that I will never ever go to any RDBD ever. RDBD manager : Gopinath Bairagya Just a feedback from my end that please be more calm & manageable towards customers.

Rang De Basanti Dhaba is a sophisticated Restaurant at Salt Lake City Sector-v. It's adjacent to College More Salt Lake City Sector-v. It's just opposite to Jagdish Chandra Bose Institute. It's on a prime location. Can be viewed from a car or bus. And on the main road. That's why the Restaurant can be located easily. Communication is just awesome to reach there and to return to original destination as well. Only one Cuisine is available there. Total Indian Food Delicacy. Mainly Mughlai Cuisine. Quality of food is just awesome. Neither more nor less spicy the food is. Just awesome chemistry in terms of food is being served there. Flavor and taste of the food served is heavenly. I just fond of their food. Visit often with my friends. Also take parcels for my family members, too. So, any one can understand how much I love their food. So I firmly recommending their food. Anyone can come here in Rang De Basanti Dhaba and to justify my words. I think there wouldn't be any questions about quality of food be arise. Take reasonable time to serve the food after being it's ordered. The waiters there are very polite and communicable. Always available on calling. And I have a familiar relationship with them, mostly. Price of food is just moderate, compared to the quality of food. Is not it awesome. Highly recommended. Thanks.

Rang De Basanti Dhaba is located on the main road in Saltlake Sector V, very near to College More. It remains open till 1 am and derves north indian food. You can dine in or take away. We went there around 10:30 in the night of a Friday. Not sure whether is change made for the upcoming feative season -the sitting arrangement seemed different and very congested. To move from one table to another you might need to take quite a few extra steps. We order 2 types of kebabs, butter tandoori roti, and a mutton dish. Along with that a Lassi and fresh lime soda, also Tooti Fruti and coolfie for dessert. Most of the items were tasty but did jot like the mutton dish much. But our main concern was the service. It looked like most of them were busy catering to the online order deliveries. We had to call each person 2-3 times before anyone came to our table. There was no sequence of the foods being served. The beverage came along with main course. Though had ordered a salad long back, almost when we have finished our dinner it was informed it cant be served. But again it might be due to the festive season rush, so will definitely will give a 2nd chance.

Over priced and dirty goli soda bottles. worldwide wherever you eat biryani along with biryani you will get rayta and onion salad that must be given by restaurant but this dhaba is do not serve these with biryani, also price of biryani is high as you are a dhaba restaurant you should be cheaper then others. Since not salad and rayta, we order onion salad and rayta , they chopped 2 onions gave (50g ) in one plate charged with RS 65, that means 1300kg onions they are selling, and rayta 50 gm curd in small ball with top of it bundi without any other spices in rayta, and they chave charged RS 95 , means 1900 kg curd ...and for name sake hot rice with chicken they served in handi but that is not actually cooked in handi ,not taste, full cheating,. aahhh one more thing how we can forgot to tell about goli soda, that is soda water with Jaljira in dirty bottles that would have been used by many many people's many times, may be 500 times, I will not really recommend any foodies to go there better look for some other options with this amount. Attached my Bill's and photo that I realized to take after food. Not at all worth quilty.
