The Serra Rooftop Cafe — Restaurant in Bidhannagar

We had an awesome time having lunch at this beautifully decorated rooftop café. This is a full AC duplex café where the topmost floor is having couple seats only. 3 people can seat but it can get congested depending on your order. Groups having 3+ members can seat below. But you won't be able to enjoy the rooftop view.

Let's come to food, we ordered the following: Corn Cheese Chicken Chowder - Tasty thick creamy chicken soup, very filling. (Price - Rs. 210) Prawn Tempura - If you are trying this dish for the first time, then you will love it. But we had better. They serve 6 pcs. Also price wise, this is costly. (Price - Rs. 575) Bacon Wrapped Cheesy chicken - 5 small pcs of chicken in cheese with bacon wrapped. Loved the taste. (Price - Rs. 399) Alfredo Spaghetti Non veg - Chicken Spaghetti Paste with a garlic bread was really good. (Price - Rs. 375) Chingri Malai Curry with Steamed Rice - Superb in taste, our authentic Bengali dish will truly make your mouth watery. Had 6-8 small pcs and also comes with Jhuro Alubhaja. The quantity of rice was not even for 1 person, so you will need to order for a separate portion of rice. (Price - Rs. 599) Extra portion of steamed rice - This portion was enough for 2 people but cost was a lot. (Price - Rs. 199) Arabian Bean Coffee Chocolate Monte Carlo - This dessert was really good. Ice cream inside with cakey texture on outside was a real hit. Also, the price was reasonable. (Price - Rs. 225).

Overall, taste wise this café is really good but cost and quantity wise, its not worth it. Would suggest you to go for a nice rooftop view and to munch on to some snacks.

kindly go through this review if you’re planning to visit this place. My advice would be DONT. first of all a cafe should maintain one rule for common - Your customers time is valuable. This cafe apparently do not follow this rule. My friend has booked a slot but when we reached the place they have asked us that there is some kinda event going on so we need to wait which is okay. Then after 10mins they shifted us on to our table which is apparently of 2seaters and we were 4 people. Still we managed, understood their situation. We instantly ordered our food assuming there is going to be a delay. But never expected that it would be delayed for atleast 1 hour r more than that. we only ordered two dishes, a spaghetti and a 4pcs chicken bacon wrap. I have been to almost every cafe in kolkata, never had to face this kinda situation. The management were pushing the staffs to answer our questions regarding our order, but it’s not staffs’ fault . It is completely the mismanagement of whoever were incharge. People are going out on weekends just to have some leisure time. but unfortunately this people don’t wanna be bothered about that. After 1hour they started preparing the food and you can understand how the food could be when it is prepared in such a rush. Earnest request to google to have a 0 star button, but I don’t think that will even justify today’s behaviour. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU DO VALUE...

Visited Serra Cafe on 25th December this year for their Christmas Special Lunch with family and we had a mixed experience. We arrived at the hotel at around 1 pm and the buffet was about to be started. The manager was really courteous and well behaved but he seemed a bit nurveous. We occupied a table and the buffet started. However, most of the staffs looked way too casual. Particularly there was a couple of staffs who were using frequent cuss words and slangs while chatting among themselves. I had my little daughter with me and it was extremely awkward. Coming to the food, the non veg starters were good but veg startes were below average. The buffet included a welcome drink which was good. Coming to the main course, the grilled fish tasted good and the fish seemed fresh but the dish smelled strange. The mutton was soft and succulent but the preparation lacked taste. The desserts were the best part of this buffet barring the baked rosogolla. Overall decent buffet at 849/- as there was not any other Christmas lunch buffet at this price point which was offering unlimited mutton.
