My friend got the craving for Chinese food and what would be the best option to try these cuisines other than Yo China. Despite being warned by many, we went to try. To our disappointment, the others were right. We ordered starters and main course only. We didn’t have the guts to try the dessert here after that. Drums of Heaven had only 6 pieces for rs355 and the taste was just okay, the only thing I wasn’t hoping for was that the reddish-orange color would stay on my fingertips. Chicken 90 was served in pieces with the same sauce as Drums of heaven. The only difference it had was that it was in cubes and some onions and capsicum were there too. Flavour-wise, it was the same. As the waiter suggested the spiciest dish would be the Chicken Kolhapuri and also in the menu it had two chillies symbols, so we ordered that and to balance it out Chicken Butter Masala was ordered. But I didn’t find a huge difference in the spiciness between the two dishes. It wasn’t spicy at all. Not to our satisfaction. My friend was biting green chili from the salad to feel the spice. Also there was a hint of almonds which felt like the dish was Almond Kolhapuri. The bread was also a disaster. The Laccha paratha lacked the appeal of comfort food. It was dry. Same goes for tandoori roti. For Naan, I would say I had better. These were pricey dishes and quality never came close to it. Service You may think if the food is not good, the service might be to compensate for this. But let me disappoint you. It was worse. We explicitly told the waiter that we are here to taste Yo China Chinese Chicken starters. Upon his recommendation we ordered. But after tasting, we didn’t really trust his suggestions anymore. When I told him the Kolhapuri was not spicy. He took upon himself as if he himself made the dish and disagreed with me and made a pointless argument that ‘you are tasting it with butter chicken masala, that is why it is not feeling spicy‘. We were like seeing each other and thinking to ourselves what nonsense argument he is giving. I told him to taste it then tell me. He is saying it is spicy but not that spicy after tasting it. C’mon, the approach should be ‘customers are always right‘. And here we are feeling wrong about calling out for the inconvenience we suffered. Not at all a good experience. We would never...
Read moreThis, according to me, is one of the best restaurants in Patna. I say so because of following. 1.)Location & Parking: This is ideally located near Dak Bungalow crossing, south of Kaushalya estate in Bandar Bagicha. You can reach there through either Buddha Marg, or Dak Bungalow crossing or Fraser road area. Parking is available by the roadside, although some hassle while parking your car can't be denied especially in the evening. 2.)Infrastructure and Staffs: You are welcomed to the restaurant with a loud salute by a guard who opens the heavy glass door for you to enter a well furnished, finely decorated hall filled with properly arranged tables and chairs. The entire ambience of the restaurant is sophisticated, calm and aesthetic. You can enjoy the view of outside as well. The waiters greet you with well practised smile. They are polite and well behaved, quite a rarity in Patna. 3.) Food and crowd: The restaurant mainly serves Chinese and Thai foods, but now a days they even serve North Indian cuisines as well. I mostly go there for steamed veg momos (Dim sum) and noodles. They are soft, steamy and aromatic. Other foods taste good as well. In short, the chefs are trained well and they know how to cook a particular cuisine. The place generally is not crowded and therefore you don't have to wait for your table. Crowd in general involves couples in their twenties or a family of three or four. Sometimes, I have also noticed small group of East Asian tourists there. 4.) Price: Foods are neither economical nor outrageously priced. Nevertheless, they are somewhat expensive. Conclusion: I have enjoyed my visit to the restaurant. Been there multiple times with my wife and parents. I had a pleasant time and hope you have...

After some time he brought the food and severd, after 1 or 2 bites i realised that it was not chicken it was paneer.
I called the waiter and told him this, he removed the plate from my front in which I was eating
Secondly, after few minutes he arrived with chicken and severd the same tandoori roti ( served earlier with paneer) which was too much hard as it was cooled down roti, i told him about the hardness of the roti, he replied that ki sir iske paise ni legenge kha lijiye.... 😐
Afterwards, waiting for more 5 mins fresh roti arrvied, after that I ordered more roties, waiter arrived with roties and i told him to serve the chicken from the boul , he said sir chicken is no more in boul.....
I didn't saw the boul at the time of ordering fresh roties (at the time of order i asked him that how many pieces in this chicken and we was informed that 8 pieces) but the waiter serving us could have informed the same regarding chicken is over or so... We'd have ordered something more to eat...
Finally we damanded for the finger boul, got the same but water in the boul was too much hot that my fingers got too red...
