If you care for your health do not go to this place...I saw blood filled uncleaned chicken..I saw a kid who was serving with his whole body on fungus serving food to the people who was constantly scratching his body and touching the food items while serving..bloody haji mohd hussiain you earn soo much why don't you pay for that little kid treatment.it was full rush and extremely unhygienic environment. All the hype created by the food vloggers is just not worth it don't be fooled and there are lots of other things to try out in that street rather than stupid ugly dirty chicken fry..

Over hyped place…. Unprofessional staff …. Too unhygienic place…. After 15-20 mins waiting… it took 22mins to deliver order on my table….was excited after such wait but the chicken was toooo oily …. Rumali roti were cold… I would say is only a hyped name nthing more then that ….. a fry chicken shop under Jama Masjid bridge opposite mahaver vatika is 100 times better then Haji Mohd… disappointing and nt at all recommended 👎🏻

Its near to gate no 1 of Jama masjid and you can easily locate this restaurant. You can see the chicken getting fried and it just attracts you towards their restaurant. I enjoyed seeing the marinated chicken getting deep fried and then transfer onto the plate and specially ours. Loved their delicacies.

A Flavorful Delight: Haji Mohammad Chicken in Delhi

Tucked away in the bustling streets of Old Delhi, Haji Mohammad Chicken is a culinary gem that has been tantalizing the taste buds of foodies for decades. This unassuming eatery has built a reputation for serving some of the most mouth-watering, finger-licking chicken dishes in the city. The moment you step into Haji Mohammad Chicken, you're transported to a bygone era. The simple, no-frills decor and cramped seating area only add to the charm of this humble eatery. The aroma of spices and sizzling meat fills the air, making your stomach growl with anticipation. The menu is concise, with a focus on chicken cooked to perfection in a variety of ways. From classic dishes like Chicken Tikka, Tandoori Chicken, and Chicken Biryani to more innovative offerings like Chicken Afghani and Chicken Changezi, every option is a masterclass in flavor and Chicken Changezi:A signature dish that's a must-try, Chicken Changezi is a slow-cooked delight that falls off the bone. The rich, creamy gravy infused with cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves will leave you craving for more. -Tandoori Chicken:Marinated to perfection and cooked in a traditional tandoor, the Tandoori Chicken is tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Chicken Biryani: A flavorful and aromatic rice dish that's cooked with precision, the Chicken Biryani is a testament to the chef's skill. The service is not okey. In not satisfied with the staffs Haji Mohammad Chicken offers exceptional value for money, with most dishes priced between ₹200-₹500. Haji Mohammad Chicken is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves good food, especially chicken. With its rich flavors, tender meat, and warm hospitality, this eatery is sure to leave you wanting more. Be prepared for a wait during peak hours, but trust me,...

I had the absolute pleasure of trying the famous fried chicken at Haji Mohd. Hussain Chicken & Fish Fry, and I must say—it completely lived up to the hype and then some. From the very first bite, it was clear that this was something special. The chicken was incredibly crispy on the outside, yet tender and juicy on the inside—perfectly cooked with a beautiful balance of crunch and succulence. What truly sets it apart is the unique blend of spices. The marinade had a depth of flavor that you rarely find—bold, aromatic, and unmistakably authentic. You could taste hints of traditional Indian spices without them overpowering the natural flavor of the chicken. It was well-seasoned all the way through, which speaks volumes about the care and technique used in the preparation. The texture was spot on—crispy without being oily, and every piece felt freshly made. Served piping hot and accompanied by fresh onions and chutney, it made for a mouthwatering, street-style experience that hits all the right notes. The portion size was generous, and the quality was top-notch, making it great value for money. Haji Mohd. Hussain’s place truly lives up to its legacy. The atmosphere, the speed of service, and most importantly, the unforgettable taste of that fried chicken make it a must-visit for any food lover visiting the area. I’ll definitely be coming back for more—and bringing friends...

Delhi’s own legendary Fried Chicken served in the bustling streets of Jama Masjid.

Haji Mohd. Hussain maintains consistency in taste as the same spice mix and simple cooking process is used every single day and you’ll see non-stop fried chicken being cooked fresh right in front of you. It’s a basic recipe where the chicken is marinated in spices and batter then fried, chopped into little pieces spiced up and fried again. Finally topped with a blend of secret spices and served with onions and zingy-zesty-spicy chutney, which makes this a great street food always served piping hot.

Hygiene is definitely questionable but it’s definitely worth a shot at least once in your lifetime especially while you’re exploring the busy streets of...
