Sultan Foods — Restaurant in Daryaganj

All started with hype created by my cousins, I decided to go with them this time to Sultan Hotel Daryaganj. It was their 5th time and my 1st time. When we reached it was showery raining and everything was mess and dirty inside and outside. My impression was quite disappointed. We waited for around 5 mins outside then got the table. We were 6 and alloted last table which was very congested and uncomfortable. We ordered Chicken Lollipop, Butter Chicken and Bachwa Fish. Electricity went off the very next moment and we were being forced to sit for half and hours without anything to eat when every cooking process was non electrical. Surprisingly what I saw the next table occupiers got their whole order even coming after us. Got the lollipop after 40-45mins and it was okay in taste. My cousins said today taste isn't same.

Time has different shades sometimes. Overall my first impression was very bad but according to my knowns place is good and worth going. You may give it a chance. We can't judge a place with one visit in unfavourable conditions like raining+electricity.

Hope next time I'll get better experience to share...

What we get in 350rs just butter. everything is ridiculous, taste, quality, quantity and pricing for the quantity they providing. Main thing is that we ordered special food they make. Which is worst i think roadside tikka is far tasty than this fullybutter tikka. Only butter taste nothing else. Chicken was smelly burned. They don't care about your concern. Before billing i showed them the quantity they are like aaj kal bht mehngai hai. Toh bhai bas tere liye hi mehngai hai kya dusre log apne ghar se de rhe hain kya. After paying bill they said apko dusra chaiye toh de denge we said no thank you so much mehngai h kabhi aap nuksaan me aa jao. Think before wasting your money here bcz for the name of taste they have butter only. I Won't refer this place to anyone. Al yamin, nazeer or there are many good place available at this...

Sultan is located in the alleys of Darya Ganj. If you are visiting them during weekends be ready for a long waiting que. Tried their famous Mutton barra.. Its chewy and tastes ok.. They added too much sodium as a preservatives, and if you are on a low sodium diet then not the right option for you. They provide in car dining experience if you are enjoying your favorite drink. Over all an average experience. Hope they will...
