Had an unforgettable experience with ate. Had ordered a 2kg cake for a very special occasion , prepaid for delivery on 20th July. The chosen slot was between 8 to 10pm. I called the team at 8pm on the day and was informed that the order shall be dispatched in next 5 minutes. Having not received the order or any info by 9pm I called back, and to my horror I was informed that my order shall be dispatched in the next 5 minutes!!!Still not losing it...š.. I requested the person to share the details of the delivery and the rider as soon as the order was shipped.. And I expected to get them in about 5 odd minutes... But that didn't happen. Getting a bit anxious and also impatient I called back at 9.35ish and what do I hear.... Sir we shall dispatch yiur order in 10 minutes. š¤¬š¤¬š¤¬š¤¬. Gave a piece of my mind to the person across the phone and asked him to provide details as soon as the order was sent. At 9.56pm I finally received an update that my order was shipped. At 10.10pm I received the riders number...
Since the guest list was very close family I was still ok to get the delivery of the cake at this time and hopefully the cake would shine and the delay would not even ve noticed by anyone since all were having fun with the food and chit chatting... So... I still had hopes.
Finally the order arrived at 10.29pm.. Spoke to the Uber rider.. Went out to pick up the order.. BUT still could not get my hands on the cake!!!š The driver said he had not received his payment for the ride. Standing out in the humid Delhi evening... Waiting for the driver to get his payment from 'ate'. The driver had already called them and they had infirmed him that the payment had been done. I called the ate team again and they told me that they will make the payment in the next 5 minutes... I don't know what's with ate and '5 minutes'... Well a few minutes went by and not being able to hold the party to a cake ransom I paid the driver the ride fee and finally got my hands on the š.
The horror show didnt end here... The cake was laid out.. It was pretty...as it was in the pics.. Ready to be devoured..... BUT it had to be CUT before that... And I swear I would need a hack saw and even that might not have gone through the cake... Rock F'n solid hard! Just the top layer cream could be conquered ššš
Alas... The family party had to rely on the desserts in the buffet and the cake became a butt of all jokes. 5500 for a 'Tropical Rock'
The sponge could take a bullet and still be smiling... The cream... even cream off top of the milk pot has better flavour. There was nothing tropical about the cake except a few pieces of mango and dried pineapple on top for garnish.
Totally worthless.. The product and the service... Don't even ask!!!
Can't forget this All Together Experimental (ate) experienceš„š šæš š”. Atleast They've named...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the opportunity to find this gem near Sainik Farm. Altogether Experimental is a restaurant made out of someones inner passions and love for culinary experiences. Every corner of this Experiment is made with a sense of purpose and intention. From the comfort of the seats, to the books on the self and ultimately to the food you will eat, It was as-if the owner knew right from the beginning of their lives that this what they wanted to do and that it had be perfect yet unique. The staff exuberates honesty and commitment. The place reminded me that in life what is most important is to have enough and be content and honestly this place felt just that. Each plate of food that we ordered was unique. There are very few chefs that can follow beautiful looking food with an even better taste. The chef and their team have managed to balance that which is certainly rare. In all of this for 1 second I forgot that 2020 has been miserable and that there is a pandemic going which I took time to let the chef know. Come here to have an honest phone-free conversation with a loved one while you experience incredible food and desserts. No, I have not been paid to write these lines, the whole experience was just that good that I had to go back and write this. Cheers to the team at ATE....

Out of all the only thing worth having was the Tiramisu Croissant, it had a delectable Irish Cream liqueur mousse filling in it- tasted the perfect balance of bittersweet and it was filled with chopped Hazelnuts.
The butterscotch latte was a disappointment, it had an artificial essence of salted caramel in it and was too weak to have an effect. Berry rush latte was even worse. Also the Avo and mushroom tartine on sourdough bread which was served with a hashbrown felt like a disservice to the category for of Avocado toasts. Highly bland and just a smear of avocados on top it had no nuts or seeds or even feta to balance out the flavours. They need to pair it with something that brings zest and balance to the toast. On itās own it felt too jaded and insipid for it to be considered a category of toast.
In my opinion I recommend you to have Tiramisu Croissant and nothing else from the above. Iāll visit again for the desserts and maybe thatās all thatās worth having for. The ATE has a beautiful minimalist ambience, it felt comforting and soothing at...
