Fabulous food ! Thanks so much for the recommendation, the Whats Hot crew!

Freshly and lovingly cooked , each dish is distinct with flavours , the kind of restaurant that goes to the extent of having even the right kind of rice- perfectly cooked ( and not the usual basmati , slightly undercooked to keep the grains separate, that is endemic to most of Delhi ).

The meats and fish were all fresh and well cut and cooked in distinct gravies and masalas- really recommend the mutton kassa, the fish in the mustard sauce and the Chilika prawn curry.

Do try the crisp Bodi Chura , the Karela and Alu Chips and the very delicately flavoured Ambula Rai while you have the usual meat/ fish and veggies ..

And as a tip to others who read this - do keep tummy space (a good amount of it) for the after sweets (I am not even a dessert eater or orderer but my lunch companion friend felt like it) for the kheeri (patiently long cooked Sabudana Kheer - nearly pink in colour) and the huge fluffy malpuas .

Couldn’t do total justice to the menu -two people can only eat so much ! But going to be going back many a time till I have tried everything..

The cook is such a consummate master chef : all he touches turns to Manna ! And he comes to quietly check on whether every diner looks satisfied! - I guess like all really...

I don't think this hotel deserve even 3 rating in total. Those who are giving 4 or 5 stars must be paid. I choose Valentine's day to go there with my wife after seeing the reviews on google and totally ruined the day. 1st thing, they don't know how to manage the crowd. No one is there to attend when you enter. Miss management at high and no card payment or UPI payment only cash. 2nd is food, why you guys are ruining the state name in the name of Odisha Hotel. There is nothing authentic in food except the utensils which I am not sure washed well. The rice quality is not upto the mark. Dal was not boiled properly. The mutton needed more efforts to chew. The fish fry was fried twice or thrice before serving, believe it was cooked much earlier. The only thing I liked was crab, may be because I did not had it in a while. They just keep everything steamed and put them into curry while serving, this is not authentic. Need much much improvement in Delhi branch...

I recently visited Odisha Hotel at Sainik Farm Delhi and had a mixed experience. While the food was genuinely good, featuring flavorful dishes and well-prepared meals, several issues overshadowed the visit. The air conditioning was not working, leaving the dining area uncomfortably hot. I was drenched with sweat throughout the meal, which significantly detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the service was below par; our server seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, which led to delays and a general lack of attentiveness. To top it off, there was a mistake on the bill that took additional time to resolve. If you're considering dining here, be prepared for an uncomfortable environment and potential service hiccups, despite the quality...

Only rice, mutton curry and chicken curry is good.price is too high. 4 piece chicken pokoda 200/ rupees and 3 piece paneer pokoda 150/- rupees. Karela aloo chips is like chewing plastic. Dohi baigan was worst in taste. Curd was stale and smelling. Mashroom curry taste was like eating cinnamon and tasteless. Ambula Rai was not available. In mutton curry no pattato was there even though they mentioned in the menu. Despite of telling them the true taste of all these dishes, they argued with me and they didnt accept the truth. So it was my first and last visit to this hotel. I drove 30 km to have taste in this restaurant and at last I felt I have done a big mistake choosing this Odia hotel. Great disappointment.

Oh I came across this restaurant when my sister in law introduced it to me. She is from odisha and was very regular to this restaurant before moving to the US. We went there for lunch and I decided on my mind before entering the place that I am gonna eat the fish thali... thali came with different varieties of dishes... muri ghonto, raita, dal, rohu fish in mustard gravy, torai with dahi, rice, papad, fried vegetables... umm I still remember it's taste... loved the rohu fish curry so much... If you want a soulful meal with family then this restaurant is definitely for you... I am gonna go soon to explore more items from their menu... You guys surely earned a loyal customer for life....
