Among their extensive menu, two of the most popular food items at this place are Bombay Pao Bhaji and Tawa Pulao. On my recent visit, I decided to try their Butter Pao Bhaji and Dabeli, and I must say, they were absolutely flavorsome and scrumptious. The rich buttery flavor of the Pao Bhaji combined with the perfectly spiced Dabeli left my taste buds craving for more.

During weekdays, the serving time is usually between 10-15 minutes, which is quite efficient considering the rush. Speaking of rush, it's advisable to plan your visit on weekdays rather than weekends. On weekends, the place tends to get crowded, and finding a table might be a challenge due to the popularity of their dishes.

For those who prefer take-away, the restaurant also provides that option, allowing you to enjoy their delectable food in the comfort of your own space. The convenience of take-away is definitely a bonus for those on the go or for those who prefer a cozy meal at home.

In terms of reaching the location, the best way is to take the Violet Line of the Delhi Metro and get off at Lajpat Nagar metro station. From there, it's just a short walk of approximately 500 meters, making it easily accessible.

Jhakas Bombay Pav Bhaji in Lajpat Nagar is an absolute gem! After passing by it numerous times, I finally tried their food, and I regret not doing it sooner. The pav bhaji is incredibly delicious, with super soft pav and perfectly spiced bhaji. The quality rivals that of premium hotels. In addition to the pav bhaji, we tried the Tawa pulav, which was spicy and packed with flavor. The Dabeli, with its slightly sweet chutney, rounded off our meal nicely, almost like a dessert. The service is well-organized; you get a token to avoid the rush and are called when your number is up. Located right in front of the famous Ram laddoo stall in Lajpat Nagar market, Jhakas Bombay Pav Bhaji is easy to find and definitely worth a visit....

I am alloting 2 stars since I liked the Vada Pav over here. I arrived in the morning at the stall and it was served hot. It was the best dish amongst the rest of the fare. Tried almost everything. Don't have too much hope from the Pav Bhaji since it's just average. Some people go gaga over the same but I can't really see what's all the hype about. The Bhaji tastes okay not that good too. The Dabeli is again not upto west Indian standards. Only the Pav along with all the dishes is soft and kinda good. The cheese variants of Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji and Dabeli are just added with one slice or grated cheese on the respective dishes and makes it tastes average infront of the original dishes.
