Honest Review :

Visited this place with high expectations which were coming from other "so many" 5 star ratings and some videos that we saw of the restaurant on social media.

Talking about the Ambience ( which is why this restaurant is known for ) : No doubt the restaurant will give you a mountain vibe. The interior is cozy, well decorated and neatly placed. The ambient light gives an additional pahadi cafe touch to the experience.

But there are a few things that lack : As its summer time, the ACs were not working well which turned out to be suffocated rather than cozy

The seating arrangement : The place is not very big, its a small restaurant so the seats are placed very near to each other and the one with prime experience near the chimney or near the windows are mostly in demand so are always filled up.

Food : We were very excited to try the food after looking at the menu items on insta and Google but frankly it didnt meet our expectations . Reason being :

Taste : The taste of the food was not par excellence. Pasta was overpowered by the flavour of mushroom but still nice to eat . Whereas burgers not so good to taste. The best dish was Banan Tofee Pie .

Time : For some dishes which we wanted to order , we were asked to wait for 55 minutes which is something not a pleasant experience so we had to order something else.

Drinks : Rose wine and White wine were served at the right temperature and right quantity which seemed very professional. But my suggestion would be to not go for wine cocktails as they are "Very" bad in taste and should be revised by the restaurant.

Price : ( The moment of truth )

  • The restaurant does not justify its pricing. *

Price seems to be on a Higher side. We ordered 3 drinks, One main and one sider and it costed us INR7400 which in my opinion is high for the experience and taste we got.

Overall, it is a one time visit place to experience some mountain vibe in delhi but for food there are better...

On a fine Saturday afternoon, we were looking out for options for lunch, that is when we stumbled upon this little cozy and quaint cafe in GK 1, M Block Market, Delhi.

Ambience: Situated on the first floor, this Cafe is set up adorably. True to it's name, the interiors are bound to remind you of cafes in mountains. They have unfinished flooring and wooden log tables. Even their ceiling is entirely covered with wooden logs. The biggest table here is very well lit up by Edison bulbs which enhances the look of this cafe. Our favorite spot is definitely the round table next to the firplace which we believe is also the coziest corner and is perfect for a romantic date with bae.

The only drawback here is that the tables situated next to the windows are very small and can accommodate only one dish at a time.

Food: We ordered the following: Wolf range juicy chicken sizzler in pepper mushroom sauce: Music and mountains cafe serve their sizzlers with baked potatoes and sour cream, creamed spinach and herb parsley rice. Every element of this dish was equally delicious and we cleaned our plates within minutes. Though we thought that it could have been better if the chicken was a little tender.

Weeping willows prawn pizza with mascarpone, parmesan, cherry tomatoes and chilli flakes. When this huge thin crust pizza arrived at our table, all we did was dig-in immediately. With a generous amount of cheese and fresh prawns as toppings paired with cherry tomatoes, this pizza had our hearts at the first bite. This pizza is only recommended for sea food lovers.

Kimberly cold coffee & ice cream: This is a classic cold coffee which is not too sweet and has the perfect flavor of coffee beans.

Achy Breaky Heart Signature Oreo Cookie ice cream shake: An overloaded shake which tasted simply amazing. The ice cream tasted more like whipped cream.

Overall we had an amazing experience at this place. Their courteous staff was really helpful in guiding us...

If you want to have THE BEST Tomato & Basil Bruschetta in Delhi, You NEED to visit Music & Mountains. 🫶🏻

I truly wonder how do so many people don’t know about this place and why did o explore it SO LATE. Went to M Block market with my sister one day and I looked for the best restaurant nearby on Zomato and Music & Mountains showed up on top. Took a lil while to locate it since it’s in the middle of the market lane but upstair and truly liked the first look of it 😍 The ambience was very woody with wooden tree tables and I personally liked it. At first I thought why haven’t they switched in the light but soon they lit up candles on all the tables.

We ordered a Tomato & Basil Bruschetta and it was genuinely LOVE AT FIRST BITE. Believe me, I haven’t had a more flavourful, fresh and absolutely delicious Bruschetta. You’d really be missing out if you visit here and don’t try it. A solid 20/10 dish.

Next up we ordered a Spaghetti Aglio Olio which cake with a toasted bread and sole mushroom and broccoli. It wasn’t the best aglio olio. The flavours were really really mild, rather bland and we had to amp it up with some salt, oregano & chilli flakes. You can totally skip this one if you wish. A 4/10.

Lastly we ordered some fries but they were out of fries. However, their staff still gave us a portion of fries that they were left with. The fries here were rather thick, more like the chips (fries) you get with fish. And well they were pretty bland as well but a little salt was good enough for it. 7/10.

We enjoyed a cozy early dinner in the middle of a bustling market with the candles lit up and soft music.

I’d personally recommend that you do visit this place once to experience the vibe for yourself

Overall a 7/10 for me.

I’d like to mention that the staff was really courteous. They didn’t charge us for the portion of French fries since that wasn’t their full quantity and I feel that was a good...

1. No value for money. 2. Pretentious. Lacks soul. 3. For the price one expects a certain level of finesse and attention to detail in ambience, quality of food, service and hospitality. That is lacking. Very rough around the edges for the price being charged for the food. 4. Minestrone soup was slightly above average. Not great. Just slightly above average. It was spilling over the edges which looked unappetising. But the quantity was good for a supper meal for one. It was for 650-ish plus taxes rupees. 5. Even though I was there at a weekday pre dinner…and the place was full to only 30 percent or so capacity…my request to be seated in a place I would have liked to be seated in was not entertained. As a single diner, I was seated on a 2 person table next to the bar/dessert counter. It was a crowded space with servers hanging around in the area. Somebody’s shake or cocktail was being prepared in the bar. The noise of the grinder was jarring and annoying against candles and “soothing” music. 6. The dessert display was very sad looking. Everything is just pretty rough around the edges. The quality of the table, the soup spilling over the edges looking unappetising, The servers inflexibility and unwillingness to accept requests. Again. For the price point one expects much much better. 7. This is why I call it pretentious. There are candles, and dim light, and flower on your table, giving you the impression of a romantic quaint place, but then you do not shy from operating mixers and grinders in the open and don’t mind a crowd of servers hanging so close to tables.
