Nando's — Restaurant in Delhi

Nando's to me means Love for Chicken and those who must have visited Nando's once, will agree with me for sure. Visiting Nando's now and then is my family routine. And this time we Visited the Nehru Place branch, which is located right at the entrance of Metro Station and Epicurua.

The Vibes, Decor and Hospitality has Always been consistently good at all their outlets. The Server Tribhuvan was extremely courteous and helpful throughout our brunch.

We started with their newly launched Cheesy Chicken Festa fries, which were loaded, cheesy and fiery. Topped up with grilled chicken chunks, this made a great starter.

Next, we ordered our All time favorite here, Something Exotic with french fries and corn on the cob. This is a perfect starter Platter and all the elements were perfectly done. Mild Peri Peri glazed Watermelon and Cottage cheese slices were Chargrilled to caramelized perfection. This was juicy, succulent, delicious and saucy. I love their Corn on the cob and cannot leave without this sweet, grilled, juicy corn. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED DISH HERE 👌.

In the drinks we ordered Rosa Fresca, which was a summary delight. Refreshing rose and pomegranate flavors, hint of mint and lemon, this Sprite drink was delicious and refreshing. Another drink Must Try here is Portuguese lemonade, which is so tangy and oozes Portuguese spices in every sip.

In the main we ordered Chicken Skewers, Pita and Fresh Salsa that has been our regular favorite here too. Spiced as per your choice, chicken and pineapple skewers are yum and paired with Pita and fresh Salsa it's a light but Complete meal.

Their popular Espetada Carnival is an Arabian delight and version of the Indian Chicken Tikka. Stuffed chicken cubes, along with veggie cubes are marinated and skewed in Chargrill and served hanging vertically with two of your favorite sides. This is a nice and filling dish altogether.

We love their Chocolate Truffle slice that is rich, goey, loaded with chocolate ganache and topped with choc chips to make it a seduction. The drizzle of salted caramel made it Heavenly and Divine.

We just love Nando's and would love to come back for...

The peri peri sauce and it's magical flavour is the soul of this place ... Easy to locate in Epicuria , situated right opposite to Dhaba by cladridge .. They have ample of choice in term of Non veg food and alchoholic​ beverages .. Veg option are limited but you can find the right thing to order ..Even they have kept a Kid's special burger .

First glance at menu make you think , " oh they are expensive ", but when they inform that with meal you can take unlimited soft drinks /frozen yogurt /peri peri sauce from a self serving counter . You feel just the opposite -" Dude , it's a jackpot deal " . So we tried garlic bread (which was a bun ) , Veg platter with rice and exotic veggie and pasta . Serving size was cool and prep time was 10-12 min . During which you can sip coke /sprite /Fanta as much as you can .

Taste was ok considering veg dishes , as the place USP is chicken .. Icing on cake was they provided colors and drawing sheet to my kid . He got totally engaged in it and we parallely enjoyed our meal after long .

Overall : One time must visit for veggie to try this concept of self serving unlimited counters and non-veggie seems to be a regular repeat customers .

The place is too open to get lost. If you are coming with metro, just drop at nehru place and go downstairs. You will find it just at the right. The place is clean thanks to the management for that initiative. The decorations including the colors used to paint the walls make you see the place new every time one comes in. Their service is fast and reliable. If waiting time is 7 minutes they really mean it not like other restaurants where 7 minutes become 30 minutes. Their food is too sweet and awesome. Their chicken is the best than KFC's sorry to say that but it is the truth. Yeah, In a place like this don't hope that food will be cheap. In fact it is expensive but affordable and a quality one. Funniest thing about this place is that soft drinks are self served, unless you quench your thirsty, sprite, coke and fanta is unlimited. Last time i ate there i heard some congo music in Swahili and i was very happy since they took me back home a place i belong. Hard drinks are also available proving that this place is classic. They also have their special type of sauce which goes by the name periperi sauce. You cant resist this sauce because for me it is the best i had in my life time. Nandos is really a place to spend time with friends and family. I recommend nandos even for people on a date. It is so cool that the first time i went in i never wanted to come out.
