Pikkle (taken from the traditional "pickles" meaning achaar) is quite a fancy modern fusion restaurant. It appears to be small from it's facade but the story is completely different as you enter & experience this new place situated on the first floor of a new commercial building. The place is fully furnished in a new-fashioned style complete with wooden flooring as well as a small stage for live performances. The lift lobby boasts of a small waiting area that has been equipped with various in-house pickles decorated in open closet & adds to the exquisiteness. Besides women greeting you at two points - one at the ground floor + first floor lift lobby , there is a giant Panda too which looks a little out of place but at the same time a huge attraction for the children! A small terrace has been beautifully carved out to be a cosy sitting place & is certainly a place of temptation for brunches during winter afternoons. The restaurant boasts of a mighty & expansive bar that churns out quite humble cocktails & mocktails that has been included in the menu.
This multi cuisine restaurants a variety of food stuff from the Asian Delicacies that borrows little bit from Chinese, Thai & Japanese cuisines as well as the north Indian one. The Dimsums (veg + chicken in chilli oil) & Sushi Rolls were decent stuff to start our food exploration. What captivated me was the exotic farmers veg pizza & the fish fingers clearly in addition to the chicken boti Tikka. The base of pizza resembled that of a tandoori roti - so crispy & crunchy at the same time which made it really fun to have. Main course included regular fare - Dal Makhni, butter chicken & garlic cheese naan and turned out better than expected indeed!
Well, the surprising element of this place actually lies in the dessert section and that's the reason I have allotted this rating of 5/5. I was left completely mesmerized by all the three items that was served to us. All the items - Pan Popsicle, Blueberry Cheesecake, Melting moments were epitome in presentation as well as the distinct flavors and I would certainly recommend you guys to try either one of these no matter the season or time you visit !!! I hope the kitchen can keep at serving the same standards of food + drinks + desserts at all the times !!! All the best...
Read moreI booked from Dineout under GIRF for 50% off the total bill, while entering the restaurant I clearly showed the booking as well message from Dineout. The manager Mr. Yashpal told me to take a seat and order while he was confirming the booking from Dineout, as they didn't receive any notification from Dineout. The meal they served was very low in quantity. I had a feeling that I am the judge of Master Chef and just for tasting purpose I was served the meal. Only mocktails and Chicken kofta Biryani were served in appropriate quantity. Also, the service was poor, we had to wait for the waiter for the order, they seemed busy somewhere. I took my friend for the party here. Now, when the billing part came, they clearly denied of any 50% off offer mentioning that they didn't receive any notification from the Dineout side. As I am a regular customer of Dineout and I use it every week in restaurants, this happened with me for the first time that they declined the offer even after purchasing coupons and booking the same. So, in order to ensure the booking I contacted the Dineout customer care, one of the worst customer care. Only chat option was available for you to contact customer care and the reply was automated , so quite irritating. I had to explain the whole issue on chat and their only reply was sorry for inconvenience, our customer care will call you. I waited for 40 minutes for the customer care to call, but no calls. So, in the end I asked that you give me no. I will call you. They give the no. but the no. was not answering. After 3-4 tries they picked up the call and finally they accepted their fault and told about some server problem and finally confirmed that the manager was notified from their side. Now, even after the notification they further delayed the bill and I had to walk to the manager to take the bill and the excuse was they thought that I paid the bill. Absolutely humiliating experience from both Dineout and Pikkle in front of my friend. So, I will advise to kindly think before booking this restaurant under Dineout and also be careful...

Pikkle had really amazing ambience and is quite spacious and also has a cute panda.
I went there yesterday and tried :
SABUDANA TIKKI - This tikki was really crispy and was served with Tandoori Mayo which went just amazing with it.
ARANCHINI - Crispy balls with stuffing of barley vegetables. This was something really different that I tried and totally loved it.
ASPARAGUS TEMPURA ROLL - This was really good had a paper roll, sticky rice and topped with fried tempura batter. It was so crispy and finger-licking. MUST TRY!
HALEEM - Friam topped with Mutton Haleem, the taste and fragrance of Mutton Haleem was just perfect. MUST TRY!
PRAWN SUSHI - It had filling of prawn and some exotic veggies which were wrapped in a paper roll and then it had layer of sticky rice. This was topped with crispy tempura batter. MUST TRY!
CRAZY WATERMELON DRINK - After a long time, had such an amazing Watermelon Drink. Had really strong flavour of kaffir lime in it. This drink is actually good for a non-alcoholic. MUST TRY!
BUTTER CHICKEN - I didn't expect them to master at North Indian Cuisine too. As Butter Chicken was so creamy and buttery. MUST TRY!
DAL KAKHANI - Dal Makhani was also good. Texture and all perfect, but lacked a little bit flavour in it.
MOLTEN LAVA CAKE - Best Molten Lava Cake I've ever had. Molten Choco Lava filled with loads of chocolate and topped with a scoop of ice cream and a chocolate flake. The chocolate cake oozing out and made my mouth water. The cake was...
