Refections Cafe, Lajpat Nagar — Restaurant in Delhi

Went there on a lunch date with my friend we choose this cafe as it is right in front of the metro station and you won't have to travel long, firstly the cafe is beautiful but I doubt if I can say the same about their hygiene as there were cockroachs on the table we were sitting at, we told a staff and they just changed our table. Now for the food we ordered their Perry Perry fries one hibiscus ice and peach ice tea it took them about 15 minutes to bring us this order the fries were without any side dip so we had to order one, the fries and drinks were good for the main course we ordered Mexican tacos that we never got to try because it took them more then one hour to bring us our order, before ordering we had asked the waitress about how long this order would take to which she told us that it will take about 15 something minutes and as we had planned to stroll in the lajpat market after we were done eating so according the time the waitress gave us we would have been done around 3:40 as when we gave our second order the time was 3:10 but we were sitting in the caffe till 4:30 with no food or any info about it we even complained three times to the staff members and the waitress who took our order who only gave us an excuse that she will be back with our food in 5 minutes, two people went in the kitchen to check on our order but they didn't even bother to come back with any update or the food, we even told them that if they are busy we can just cancel our order and just bring us our bill but it was as if we were talking to walls they didnt bring us our food or bill and all this was because the whole staff was extremely busy in catering for two food bloggers sort of people who came way after us ordered a whole bunch of dishes that they didn't even touch except for taking photos from different angles there were few more people who came around the same time as us and they had already left the people who came after us were also done eating and left while we were sitting there looking at the staff drooling over the free publicity from those food bloggers to the point they completely ignored making our order. at this point we have had enough of this biased behaviour so we took our belongings and left the table only that was when the manager and staff noticed that they had other coustomers to cater to apart from the bloggers then they rushed to ask us to not leave and sit back that they will bring out our order to which we refused my friend confronted them that if they didn't want to cater to our order they shouldn't have taken it in the first place as we had already asked them and even told them two times that they should cancel the order and just bring out the bill they didn't even do that and if they just wanted to serve the bloggers then you shouldn't have made us wait this long that is just disrespectful meanwhile surprisingly the waitress brought out our order within five minutes of this conversation and urged us to eat the food the managers words were "mam please baith jaye order lane mai thodi der ho gayi but ab ready ho gya hai to ap please baith jaye and beshak ap iska half pay kardena" like they really thought that we are some stupid kids thodi der doesn't equals to 1+ hour delay and ignored complaints/questions inlast we payed for the fries and drinks only, and told them to keep the tacos or maybe give them to the bloggers as well. This experience not only ruined a good memory but also a whole day. Please learn to treat all your coustomers with equal respect not just people who can give you free publicity because after all they might not pay you...

Top notch cafe in Lajpat Nagar , the food options are excellent and delicious. The service is also excellent and prompt. The cold beverage selection is also very good with the coffee options being one of the best. I ordered a toffee nut cold coffee ( off-menu) , i asked them to add the toffee nut flavouring to the cold coffee which they were kind enough to do and it was delicious and lighter than usual since they use low fat milk. The hung curd sandwich was a treat and the turkish eggs were also very good. The turkish eggs come sunny side up but they asked us our preference and cooked both sides. The price is also very reasonable for this location. Will definitely go again to try...

I recently visited this cafe. It is one of the amazing places for mouthwatering food in Lajpat nagar. The best part of this cafe is, it is just opposite to Lajpat nagar metro station. It is such a beautiful cafe for any type of celebration. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations .

I had a very good pasta after so long. Perfectly cooked. The Cucuba mocktail was really refreshing. Highly recommend. Even loved the Nutella waffle and garlic pull bread.
