Extremely disappointing experience – Not recommended at all!

I recently visited Shawarmawala hoping for a quick and tasty meal, but it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Let’s start with the staff behavior — unbelievably rude and unprofessional. When I tried to place my order, the staff at the counter seemed completely uninterested and irritated, as if I was bothering them. There was no greeting, no eye contact, no courtesy — just a cold, dismissive attitude.

I ordered a shawarma wrap and a combo plate, and not only was the order delayed, but the food arrived cold and poorly presented. When I politely pointed out that the food didn’t taste fresh, the staff became defensive and started arguing instead of addressing the concern. No apology, no attempt to resolve — just arrogance.

As for the food quality: • The shawarma tasted stale • The chicken was undercooked and chewy • The sauces tasted artificial and overly sour • The salad smelled slightly off, like it wasn’t stored properly

The place itself wasn’t clean either. • Tables were sticky • Trays were dirty • The dustbin was overflowing • And overall hygiene was clearly not a priority

What upset me most wasn’t just the poor food, but the complete lack of customer service. It felt like the staff didn’t care whether I stayed or left. I even saw them being rude to another customer, which shows this is not just a one-off case.

Final Thoughts:

I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are far better shawarma options with respectful staff and better hygiene. This was a complete waste of time and money.

I recently visited Shawarma Wala in Tilak Nagar and decided to try their egg roll. The taste was just average and didn’t stand out compared to other places I’ve tried. One of the major drawbacks was the hygiene; the tables were dirty, which made the dining experience quite unpleasant. Additionally, the service was very slow. It took much longer than expected to receive our order, even though the place wasn’t particularly busy. There are very few places where you can have decent paneer roll. One of the place is in C R park and the other is Shwarma Wala. While waiting for the order I saw a lot of swiggy orders buying chicken roll or Shwarma. Based on paneer roll taste and chicken roll/Shwarma order I believe this place is really good and value for money.
