After reading all those review i went there and find out that he charges 160 rupees for 1kg Chicken/beef whereas his biryani has a lot of bones how can someone eat bones throughout biryani its annoying in that area some people charges only 120 rupees for 1kg Biryani that too boneless without compromising on taste and also the staff is very ill-behaved let me give you guys a small example i brought 500gm biryani when i asked him to give me some raaita he said its kept inside that sack placed outside the shop ,so i gently picked 2 pouches as it wasn't more than 8ml he asked me to drop one from my packet as for each 500gms there is only one pouch. I said but it seems to be really less i would need two pouches,he said in a harsh tone to drop one pouch from my bag . I felt humiliated at first because after shelling 80 rupees for 500gms where market charges only 60 for a much premium biryani compared to him he shouldn't have said to me like this i mean what cost for a 4 ml water and curd. I being customer didn't felt it ok as even 10 rupees kachodi wala give as much curry as you want . I know many of you will still go there but do remember i been there for first and last time . Please cancel your visit because i am sure you too will find nonsense. I better suggest you to visit salman biryani he charges only 120 per kg for the...

Read moreTaufiq Dilpasand Biryani, located near Jama Masjid in the bustling streets of Old Delhi, is a hidden gem for biryani lovers. Established in the 1990s, this humble eatery has built a strong reputation for serving rich, aromatic biryani with a distinct Old Delhi flavor.
I visited the place on a local food recommendation and was pleasantly surprised by the bold flavors and generous portions. The buffalo biryani is their signature dish—slow-cooked meat that's incredibly tender, layered with fragrant rice and infused with a mildly spicy achari (pickled) essence. It comes with a side of raita and green chili pickle, which perfectly complements the dish. The chicken biryani was equally impressive, though slightly lighter in flavor.
The ambiance is basic, and the place can be hard to find in the narrow lanes, but the food more than makes up for it. It’s not a fancy restaurant by any means, but a spot that delivers true taste and value. Prices are very reasonable—₹220 for a kilo of biryani is a steal.
Service is quick, and the staff is polite. While hygiene could be improved, the overall experience is worth it for food enthusiasts. If you’re in Delhi and love biryani, Taufiq Dilpasand...
