I visited this restaurant after many years. I had a dinner with my family last night and food was good. This Tibetan restaurant used to be the one of the most popular restaurant during my days in Delhi and one of the oldest restaurant but now I can see the reason why every other restaurants in MT are packed with customers and this restaurant was nearly empty.

This restaurants lacks customer service. The Tibetan lady at the front desk doesn’t know how to receive guest properly. She didn’t even said hello as we walked in, when we walked out she didn’t even say thank you. When it comes to customer service ego has to be left outside the restaurant before they come to work.

The Indian servers were well dressed and humble but their attention is not fully on the customers. I had to get up and ask for things. There is no professionalism and they behave half jokingly like those servers in roadside Dhaba. Example: the beer wasn’t chilled. I advised them to put a couple of beer in the freezer for the next customer but he sarcastically laughed and thanking for my suggestion was out of his reach. I had to drink the beer with the ice in it to kill my thirst. They need to be little more serious with customer service.

The restaurant itself looks very trendy. I’ve noticed a bug facelift done on the restaurant outlook since I visited India last. It is very cozy and located in a very prime spot.
