Never in my life have I been told at a cocktail bar that it’s “too busy to make cocktails”. Especially when there’s about 9 people and five wells open just to make drinks and other drinks are being made for people around us. On top of that, as soon as we entered the restaurant, we saw a glass being shattered into the ice well and two bartenders continue to use the ice even after we had asked them to stop. We spoke to a manager who tried to appease us with free shots when we told him about the broken glass, but the experience overall left a horrible taste in my mouth, especially as a bartender from the US who knows how badly glass in a drink can harm someone.
On top of that, drinks were incredibly expensive and service was rude and dismissive the entire night. We came for a show we were very excited to see, and once we entered the venue too early, they would not let us leave for me to retrieve a medicine I left in my car that I needed. Staff was incredibly rude when we asked politely to go get it, and while I can understand having a rule, it’s laughable to me that we spent so much money to get in the door and were essentially locked in and forced to drink overpriced, average tasting drinks.
The group of four I was with spent about 15,000 rupees inside. The show itself was packed and we were being shoved around by underage people the restaurant had admitted the entire time. If you have the foresight to skip this place, go spend your money ANYWHERE else in the city. The parking lot outside of the liquor stores have better drinks and better vibes than this place ever could. Extremely...
Read moreSuch a kitty party vibe. I am taking time out to write this review because I’ve had a bad experience twice with this place now. The first time they didn’t get us a table despite having space because we didn’t have a reservation, they won’t even put up on the waitlist if cancellations, noted.
The 2nd time I had a reservation and I had also called them to let them know what time I’ll be there, the hostess picked up and approved of it and later made a scene at the gate because she said they don’t take online reservations. We reached at 8 and she said I’ll give you a table until 10. I had a reservation, and I doing bed a curfew, TL;DR we left in 30 mins. Such a small menu, doesn’t cater to a particular cuisine or region, below average food, over priced, over hyped. Half of the cocktails weren’t available and they aren’t very old for the liquor to run out. Their chicken skewer is an over priced Buffalo Wild Wings chicken IYKYK. They had no rum selection. Servers have no idea about the menu or the alcohol available and the entire staff is classist. We paid 4k for 1 app, a beer and 2 drinks. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Also please don’t do to the other restaurant named Kaayo which is also owned by the same chain if you don’t wanna go deaf and her...
