🍴 Double Deck Casual Dining – A Well-Rounded Experience
Double Deck Casual Dining lives up to its name as a laid-back yet vibrant space for friends, families, and even casual dates. My recent visit left me with a positive overall impression, thanks to the food, ambience, and attentive service. While there are always areas where improvement can add polish, this is certainly a restaurant worth considering if you’re in the neighborhood.
⸻
👥 Service
The service at Double Deck was friendly and efficient. From the moment we entered, staff were polite, welcoming, and quick to guide us to our table. Orders were taken without delay, and the servers seemed to have a good grasp of the menu, offering suggestions when asked. Dishes came out at a steady pace, not rushed and not overly delayed, which made the evening flow smoothly. Unlike some restaurants where staff disappear after seating you, here they checked in at the right intervals without being intrusive. That balance is something I really appreciated.
⸻
🌿 Ambience
As the name suggests, the restaurant has a double-level setup, and that adds to the charm. The design is modern with casual touches, offering a relaxed environment that doesn’t try too hard. Lighting is comfortable, music is pleasant without being overbearing, and the décor feels contemporary while still cozy. It’s a place where you can sit for a long conversation or enjoy a relaxed meal without feeling rushed. The second level has slightly better seating arrangements for groups, while the ground level feels more compact and energetic.
⸻
🍽️ Food
The food overall was flavorful, nicely presented, and satisfying. Portions were generous, and the menu offered a wide enough variety to please different tastes—from Indian comfort food to continental and fusion items.
Starters were a highlight, with crispy, well-spiced options that paired perfectly with drinks. The mains struck a balance between familiar comfort and a bit of experimentation. Each dish arrived fresh and hot, and the flavors were consistent throughout. While I wouldn’t say every item was exceptional, the majority delivered on both taste and quality. Desserts wrapped up the meal on a sweet note, not overly fancy but comforting and enjoyable.
⸻
🥂 Drinks
The drinks menu had a good mix of mocktails and cocktails, and everything we tried was refreshing. The mocktails in particular stood out for being well-balanced instead of overly sweet, which is a common issue in many casual dining places.
⸻
đź’¬ Final Thoughts
What makes Double Deck Casual Dining appealing is the way it brings everything together—good food, attentive service, pleasant ambience, and fair pricing. It’s not trying to be fine dining, and it doesn’t need to. Instead, it provides a relaxed, welcoming experience that works equally well for a family outing, a casual hangout with friends, or even a cozy dinner for two.

âś… Final Verdict
Overall, a good experience. Double Deck strikes the right balance between casual comfort and satisfying dining. With a bit more attention to detail in presentation and seasoning, it could easily elevate itself from good to great—but as it stands, it’s already a spot I’d...

The ambience is very soothing and pleasant and appropriate for family dining very aesthetic interior sooting to the eye .
Coming to what we ordered Mocktails :
The wrong turn : This mocktail is served in a martini glass and has a very spicy taste the base of this mocktail is orange juice blended with black pepper and passion fruit I liked how it was presented with a green chilli topping and the taste was really good and spicy.
Pesto Mania : This was the most unique mocktail I have had considering it was made from fresh basil and pineapple juice topped with vanilla ice cream , talking about the taste it was sweet and gave a hint of basil if you are here to try something different you should consider opting for this mocktail .
For the starter I ordered a veg and a non veg dish
Before I tell you how this dishes tasted let me tell you this place serve a variety of starters you can order from if you are chicken fanatic like me you will be very happy as they serve dishes straight from the Clay Oven
Chicken Rezela : Chicken Rezala is one of the many delicacies of Mughlai cuisine. Cooked yellow spices this dish has a tandoor and tangy taste and they topped it with cheese . Adding cheese took the dish to whole another level and was served with green chutney and salad on the side.
Hara bhara kebab : Well this dish needs no introduction one of the most common veg starter but now as we are talking about Double Deck they have made and customised this dish too the kebab is topped with cashew and the dish is served with green peas and capsicum slices the taste was good and was served hot just the way we want .
Main course
We went for Chicken angara with Butter garlic naan
I am absolutely in love with the Indian chicken curries and Chicken angara is one of my favourite, this chicken is known for its super rich and thick gravy with smoky aroma and flavour it tantalises your taste buds The dish is served in a bowl with coal and onion on it makes it so instagramable the quantity is more than enough for two people . Who can say no to a spicy chicken curry with a smoky flavour ? Well, I definitely can’t I cannot stress enough one should definitely try this .
And the best part Dessert Well after a good meal you need something sweet to complete the day and that is why went for Sizzling Brownie .
Brownie sizzler is a top favorite recipe in any restaurant. Hot brownies served in a sizzler plate with all the sizzling action. This is one of the fancy dessert. This has been my all time favourite dessert and this restaurant did the best and the quality was top notch.
Visiting a restaurant with family you not only look for a place serving good food but also good ambiance and good customer service. Customer service is one thing I would say this place has to offer , Sourav and Bhagirath did an excellent job on this and I really appreciate thier assistance. I would definitely visit the place again and so...

Located in Wagale Estate, Thane, this Restaurant offers a unique dining experience with two distinct ambiances. The ground floor serves as a regular dining space, while the upper deck livens up with a DJ and music for those who enjoy a more upbeat vibe.
We opted for the quieter ground floor restaurant. They serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes along with hard drinks, catering to a wide range of preferences. It's conveniently located just about a 5-minute drive from Mulund West Check Naka.
Valet parking is available, and the staff is cooperative and courteous. Service was generally good, although a couple of orders took a bit longer than expected. Given the commercial nature of the area, it’s likely to be busier on weekdays, but we found seating comfortably on a Saturday evening.
The food quality was impressive. They offer a good variety including Punjabi, Chinese, and Continental cuisine. We went for vegetarian dishes, and they turned out to be quite satisfying in both taste and portion size.
Prices are reasonable roughly ₹1500 for two people. They also offer attractive discounts, either directly or via popular food apps, which is a bonus.
Overall, it’s a great spot whether you are looking for a casual dinner or a livelier evening upstairs. I would definitely recommend visiting...
