Burger Spot — Restaurant in Edapally

The guy at the counter is disrespectful and rude to customers. I ordered food through zomato however the zomato delivery guy was late. So i went to the restaurant myself and and asked for my food. He said he can't give the food to me as they can only handover food to the zomato delivery boy. I informed the zomato customer service team and they told they will ring up the hotel and ask the guy at the front desk to hand over the food to me. Sadly they could not connect the phone to the restaurant. As a result ,zomato executive called me and asked me to hand my phone over to the guy at the front desk. But the guy at the front desk is not ready to speak to the zomato executive which is not understandable. As my food was late, the order was cancelled automatically however burger spot would still get the payment from zomato,so the restaurant is not at a loss. From what I understand, the guy at the front desk wanted the cancelled order for him to take home as it will be already paid by zomato. Now, My order is right infront of my eyes and I cant take it which the hotel staff would enjoy for themselves. This is the worst experience i have ever faced.

I have taken the food I have ordered from the restaurant when the zomato delivery guy is late from a different hotel and they had no problem handing the food to me after talking to a zomato customer service agent. However this guy rudely refused to talk to the agent.

He said we will anyway get the payment and there is no need to give you the food I know this post would not be even looked upon or any action would be taken but still this is the least I can do. My zomato order Id was 8884 in the name of Ansal

Have tried burgers from here and liked the burgers too, but always had been some bad experience here or there. Initially cheese was billed for burger and it was not there in burger. Then had to show them and ask again. Next time we ordered something with Tomato and iceberg. As per the menu card, the burger I ordered had both these and I confirmed specifically too if these would be there in burger. Neither was there, and was billed extra price for this. Staff is not friendly, it was more like eat and go attitude. PS : For people who are not into mayonnaise much, please make sure you ask them specifically to put not much mayonnaise, since their burgers are usually loaded with mayonnaise and those who like it will love it for that extra mayonnaise quantity. Burger Spot which is in NH 17 opp lulu mall towards varapuzha direction. Location is tagged for reference. Started with French fries and fresh lime juice. Then I had the tallest burger in my life which is called Burger aka Baap. Name is true to what it was....like a leaning tower of pisa made of bun, beef patties (4 thick ones), veggies and loads of cheese. And friends had regular chicken and beef burgers as well.
