So a few days back me and my friend went to fress trees edapally.
On the positive side First the atmosphere is amazing, the plants make it such a peaceful vibe. I had kinda expected it to be humid but the fans keep us cool. Second the food that we had was peach iced tea, cheese garlic bread and Alfredo with chicken. The peach iced tea and the cheesey garlic bread were amazing. Like honestly loved it. The Alfredo was average, I know they're supposed to be bland but wow you guys made it tasteless.
On the negative side First we came here to eat the pizza after seeing the good reviews. Now my friend and I, we came here at 2;36 pm and we sat down. it took a bit of time for a service person to come to our table when they finally came they told us that pizzas aren't available till 3pm. So we told the service person that it's not a problem, we'll be here for a while so you can bring it to us when it's done. The service person then says the kitchen will scold them if they take the order. The thing is we wanted it after three but the service people refused. So we were like ok let's order a starter then after it turns 3 we'll ask. When we asked another service person said no it will be 3:30 so we just gave that up and ordered an Alfredo. Second we were there in the restaurant for almost 2-3 hours. It is so difficult to catch a service persons attention. The plants are there for an aesthetic not for the service people to hide behind. But that is what they're gonna do. And thing is I saw some 4 service people. And the whole time we were there other than us only a table was occupied. When I tried getting their attention they're on the phone.
See the thing is my friend and I we're college students. When we go to cafes like this which are kinda expensive we expect good food and good service. The service was terrible but atleast the food should've been good. But only the drink and the starter were good. The Alfredo was sad and average and not worth the price.
Honestly I would've given a higher overall rating if the service wasn't so pathetic. If you look at the other reviews I've given to restaurants you'll notice the food was expensive but very good and the service was also good and so they got a better rating. Just really...
Read moreI visited this hotel one night with my family and cousins few weeks back since it was near to our home and had some good reviews. The ambience was bit unique but in a good way. However i wonder how it would be during day time as there is no ac and it will surely be hotter with just few fans.
We ordered some drinks along with some paste and pizza. The manager/waiter who came to take the order recommended Paal kappa and fish. Although we had only couple of non vegetarians in our group, we went ahead with the same assuming it's going to be a small portion like in other hotels. We clearly told him that we want only a small portion as we have ordered other things. The manager just shook his head and went off.
All the ordered food came in but the chef special paalkappa and fish never came. We were thinking of cancelling the order, but when we checked they said they will bring it soon After ages, the waiter came in. Imagine to our surprise or shock rather when he brought Paal kappa with a whole fish sort of grilled. We immediately knew we have been duped as the price for this was not displayed anywhere. However we had no option but to have it. Finally when the bill came, the fish alone was charged Rs2500. Just imagine the shock we had seeing this charged in a non AC normal restaurant. We asked for the manager who took our order but was told.that he had left for the day.
So people who are visiting this restaurant please do not order anything without checking the price as they will just dupe you into buying something which is atrociously expensive.

This feedback is for the management of Fress Trees who has done a brilliant job and deserved honest feedbacks to keep their hardworking growing and glowing into a sustainable business.
The was this shop manager who is a middle aged guy who came up to take the food order. This was after the coffee order took unusually long to deliver ( 25 mins + ). So to confirm the timing before placing the order we asked this guy how long would you take. He said preparation time with a pissed off face. We asked him how long would that be? if he had said an approx time or said get it asap we would have felt assisted. Instead he asked us how long can make this dish? My wife answered maybe 15 mins as a guess. The guy answer shook me, he said if he gives 15 mins can we make it ourselves? I personally always ensures me or the crowd around me always talks with atmost respect to staff in any hotel/ restraurant. It is not because I had done many partime jobs as waiter, kitchen porter, bartender etc in my uni days but that is the right way to do and many does it wrong in our society. The odacity of this person to talk like this to a customer shook me. I have to pin it down here because I left that scene without arguing back as wasn't worth it and the right person who has to know about the incident is the owner, because that's where the vision comes from.
